What does Joe Calzaghe have to do before the end of his career to get to the HOF?

I think he is pretty much a certainty to get in as it stands, but if he gets a couple more wins over the likes of a RJJ, Pavlik or Dawson, then the majority of the current sceptics should be swayed.

Simple. Fight the best and do it well.

It's a little late for that. Based on that criteria, he needs a career "do-over".

He's in the HOF already. Anyway, Calzaghe's career from now on is irrelevant. He's not going to fight anyone in or close to their prime anymore. From a (positive) legacy point of view, he's retired after Kessler. Had his performance against Hopkins been as good as was expected, that fight would have had no implications for his legacy. However, he performed poorly, so his legacy was tarnished somewhat by that performance.

beating jones by KO does nothing for calzaghe, Tarver and johnson already did that. Yes, you could put that both are past their best but look at it this way..calzaghe haven't loss. Jones on the other hand not only had a streak of loses but they were KO loses.
