hbo want wilder vs wlad.......................................but wilder will have tough time getting past stiverne
In your eyes when Wlad retires the division instantly turn hot. In your eyes this soon 10yrs era of Wlad is the worst in history. I see pattern here. And especially when most fighters you mention are from northern america, and one british.maybe you look to much into history?you just deny the skills what eastern european boxers have. That's the american hype machine running wild :hi:
As i said many times on the "other" forum , best move for Wlad was to retire for 1-2 years, let all the others fight for the titles and create new superstars , come back and beat them all . because as you can see the nimwits can`t grasp the fact that he wins against EVERYONE in front of him for a decade now , once he retires and Wilder is the MAN (or some other guy who W didnt KO`d) they will say "if only X fought Wlad he wouldve Knocked him out" , now , they line up and getting knocked out and because idiots fans they are also called tomato cans once they lose.... There will be no ATG in Wlad list because you never give anyone credit , once they are the top dogs they go up against Wlad and look like bums and reduced to tomato can level. The only maybe ATG in Wlad list will be the one who beats him (and probably retires him). also to the ppl who states he is boring and what not , you dont go 10 years as #1 if you throw wild punches and take massive risks when you dont need too cuz you will get caught sometime , ask your boys FMJ/Ward they fight the same way -> win first , show later. at least a KO`s and winning all the rounds.
Likely means they think Stiverne beats Wilder and that there will also be a Jennings fight as HBO wanted that last year. Wilder isn't going to be on HBO because of Haymon.
I dont know why you would leave off Pulev and Povetkin. Their only lose is to Wladimir nothing to be ashamed of. You should also add Joseph Parker, and maybe Glazkov. With the likes of Perez, Ortiz, Mansour, Takam on the outside, who can generate some interesting fights.
Lets look at this list for a minute: Fury- Glass Jawed Stiverne- good solid fighter a deserving opponent for Klitschko Chisora- lost every round but 2 against old Vitali Jennings- HBO seems to want him to fight Wlad soon Haye- boring fighter who was a disgrace against Valuev and Wlad inactive for what seems like 3 years now. Price- Seriously? :rofl No Chin, No Heart, No stamina, etc. Awful fighter. Joshua- Glass Jawed and not proven
Wlad/Povetkin was on HBO just last year. For ****'s sake, stop the stupidity. They haven't shown all his fights but there has been no black listing. Wlad has been on HBO every year bar 2012, 2010, and 2009 to the best of my knowledge. So he's been on HBO 7 of the last 10 years(2014, 2013, 2011, 2005-2008.
Lets be honest theres no one on that list that isnt glass jawed to some extent and that for me is what makes this so exciting because theyre all decent punchers too
This. Jennings will likely be his next mandatory. He'll then likely fight Stiverne if he beats Wilder.
The heavyweight division being dismissed as boring or "utter garbage" is nothing new. Those sentiments have been routinely stated every day for the past six decades. Does anybody else think that the nostalgia lovers don't look at Pulev with the same level of scrutiny that they look at Chuvalo? What HBO's 3 fight deal with Klitschko means is HBO wants the heavyweight division. Do we read threads about the straw-weight division as lengthy or as numerous as threads about the heavyweight division? No. Furthermore, Klitschko may be attracting more attention because he's closing in on some records held by Joe Louis and Larry Holmes. Joe Louis and Larry Holmes were also heavyweight champions during eras considered "utter garbage" by the boxing commentators and boxing writers of their respective eras.
