    Quickness, speed, size???????

Nahhhh, could'nt be that, it was all smarts and being one step ahead mentally that did in Marquez!:nut:nut:nut:silly

.......in a few years when Mayweather is 37 years old, he'll climb up to Middleweight and take on a Roy Jones character much bigger, quicker and faster than he is, and believe me, Mayweather will take care of business and all it will take is his ring smarts.
Mayweather is ring smart genius, that he wont need quickness, speed and size as an advantage to win.:!::nut:nut:nut:nut

I think it had pretty much everything to do with size difference. Marquez couldn't get in range and he was trying different things to do it, not because he was out-thought(and I'm not saying Floyd's not, he's brilliant) but because he gave up advantages everywhere and Floyd has laser precision on his punches. I saw Marquez thinking up all kinds of things like a strange triple feint and he just couldn't get there.

When Floyd fought Oscar, Oscar had size, power, and was supposed to be quick enough to bother Floyd, what happend in that fight?

When Floyd fought Judah, finally we have a fighter that is his size, more powerful, and to top is off even faster than Floyd, what happend in that fight?

Floyd fought Corralles, we have a guy that is more powerful, taller and longer, bigger, and fast enough to give Floyd problems, what happend?

    You Pacnuts, are pathetic.

What i find funny is this though, you all claim that JMM was too small for Floyd, well then JMM fought close in every fight with Manny, if he is too small why do you want Floyd to fight Manny? Why do you think Manny can beat Floyd?

Though I agree with your point in general, I don't think the ODLH and Judah examples are very good considering...they both gave Floyd some trouble.

And I hate sticking up for *******s, but let's be real this is the fight everyone wants to see. The difference is this: Pacquiao had moved up in weight and destroyed: ODLH, Hatton, and Cotto. Marquez went up in weight(to 135) and struggled with a decent, but very aggressive Juan Diaz. He had never come close to fighting at 147 and had only fought at 135 how many times? It's apples to oranges.

I think Floyd wins, but let's be reasonable here.

Paciaqou moves up and fights a weight drained ODLH at 147, a weight class he hadn't seen in damn near 7 years. He fights a Hatton who was KO'd by Floyd and by Lazcano as far as I'm concerned. He fight a Cotto who he weight drained to 145, for his 147 title, and gets a gift stoppage at the end. All this while ducking Shane Mosley at 147 so he can fight Clottey, because, in the words of Roach, Shane is too good to fight at 147. Sorry, Manny has a great deal of victorys over 135, but a great deal of them were over nicely selected opponents. The way Cotto fought Manny, I'm sure JMM could have put him down too.

Marquez didn't do better than Hatton or Mosley... He never won a round and was completely outsized... His brain is what made him survive, but the guy is small at lightweight and should really be at 130..

But as far as his skills it's why he made it 12.

If you could take Floyd put him in a laboratory, replicate him in current form and then enlarge his size by 20%..... Guess which one wins every time???? Not hard to know that the middleweight version wins every fight.

Do you really think it's that hard to lose those 2 pounds? If so, you must be one of those fat armchair critics.

If the 2 pounds didn't matter why did Manny and the Roach mandate it for the contract, why didn't they just fight at 147 if the ****ing 2 pounds didn't matter.

Cotto & his coach themselves have gone on record stating that the catchweight didn't matter.

marquez was the one who's running away from pac. hell mentioning he has two belts on the line and keeps giving excuses to avoid the fight.

even *****s were aware of that. :deal
