move down get a tune up win . then the featherweight division is stacked ur 37 so u dont have much time but get a win or 2 at feather weight then look for one more pay day for leo , frampton, selby, or mares.
Boxing's a "what have you done lately" for me sport. Hopkins was called on to retire after the Taylor fights, then again after the Calzaghe fight. Kovalev was thought to be ruined, then it took one decent win for people to believe he's still a top player at 175. It wasn't thought Duran could bounce back from quitting, then he beat Moore & Barkley and people pretty much moved on. It's up to Rigo what happens next, but he's only a good win away from righting the ship. The hardest part's going to be getting that fight, but now that the blueprint's out on him, maybe one of the guys who was avoiding him steps up to the plate now.
LOL, he's been in the ring 500 times, what's he going to fine tune? He could teach Freddie a few things.
So.. is it time for El Chacal to hang the gloves? He had a chance to help himself get back on the elite level and make a statement by giving a crude fighter like Casimero a schooling and have his shot against Inoue or a rematch with Donaire. Instead we saw a fighter that was too scared to engage and didn’t have any other desire to win in impressive fashion. It really saddens me to see a fighter who was once seen as a highly talented fighter that brought fear in the ring is now reduced to a track meet fighter.
