Cotto wins again. Mosley is just too old to beat guys with a high work rate imo.

Having said that, Mosley would be far from a smart 'tune up' or 'stay busy' fight before Margo.

Shane aint got too many fights left in him
so rematching Cotto wont do him too well, coz Cotto aint no longer #1

I had Cotto beating Mosley and I take nothing from it after last nights fight.. Mayorga trained hard for this fight and it showed.. Of course, if you're fighting Mayorga, he's gonna' make you look bad.. He made Shane fight his fight and thats why it went all 12 rounds.. Shane had also been inactive for 321 days coming into this fight so he could have been a little rusty, not to mention age could be catching up with him.. Mayorga just wasn't some bum that Shane SHOULD have KO'd in the early rounds.. I liked the fight last night and even though Shane struggled with Mayorga, I take nothing away from Cotto's win over him..

It says to em that most likely Shane left most of what he had left in the ring in the Cotto fight.

Alternatively, maybe Shane had a bad night or let Mayorga draw him into a fight that Shane should have been smart enough to stay out of. But my thought all night long watching Shane's slowed reflexes and inability to get out of the way of telegraphed punches was that Shane got old and is virtually finished.

Nothing really,Cotto victory over Mosley was a great victory for him and people who know how to score a fight will clearly see that it was'nt as close as people make it out to be I scored the Cotto/Mosley fight 8 rounds to 4 for Cotto.

Cotto was faster than Shane in their fight, it wasn't supposed to happen.... That showed Mosley had slowed down and wasn't able to fight like he used to in the past !

It was a very good victory, nope it wasn't against a prime Mosley but still Mosley proved he had what it takes as the fight was obviously close and tough. Biggest win on Cotto's record so far and a very good fight/win.

Well Cotto didnt win that fight but it was still an impressive performence by him and it says alot about him considering Shane looked great in his last 2 bouts going in and looked good last night. You cant expect Shane to be throwing 120 punches a round anymore and exploding with powerful combos that make you go wwwwwoooowwww hes 37 years old but hes still a heck of a fighter.
