He's done pretty well for himself tonight.

I do think this is a good one for classic. This WAS for the linear middleweight title of the world, fellow fogies. You're going to have to deal with that.

One helluva one-puncher. I thought Martinez was going to win another close one where he'd do the best punches and Paul would work the quantity over quality angle, but I thought there'd be an okay chance of a kayo considering one guy might be weight-drained and the other guy has the defense of a turtle that lost his shell...and limbs. ...Bad defense, in other words. I was shocked by a one-punch knockout coming from either man over the other. I yelled out loud when he did it. I'm very, very happy for him. Also, thank you, Sergio, for that 1500 in vCash you've earned me.

Yeah, shoulda vbet on Sergio. VBet on the over but that didn't work out so well. Fantastic job by martinez though, a Martinez Pacquiao match is probably my most anticipated ****.

I honestly thought PW would win the rematch. Was a great shot, he never saw it coming.

All credit to Martinez, I really wasn't expecting a KO from either man.

Pac vs Martinez could be incredible!

Paul Williams has always been horribly sloppy on the defensive end, so this shouldn't really shock anyone.

Martinez is a good fighter. Don't really think he's a special fighter in any way, but by today's standards he's up there amongst the best.

Happy that Martinez got to expose him before someone like Pac or Floyd did, otherwise we'd have clowns around here telling us that their belief that they are the best fighter of all time got vindicated.

Problem with Williams is he likes to mix it up way too much. He comes in wide open every time, I just thought he'd have worked it out for the rematch and boxed more smartly.

Poor Pacman. No matter what he does, people want to get him into more trouble just to test him. I'd be beside myself if they actually decided to make that fight. Martinez would have as big/bigger a size advantage as Margarito did, except there'd be no real speed disparity to compensate for it. And Martinez is a much bigger man who also has quick feet. Martinez may get a bit overrated now, because big knockouts make people high like meth but one thing is he is an elite athlete. The hand and foot speed, the reflexes, the mobility. It'd be a terrible idea for Pac's team to try, imo. Thoroughly respectable risk if they were going to try but he'd be the clear underdog in that fight, I'd think. What was I saying? Oh, yeah. Ramble, ramble, ramble, pointless drunken mumblings. That's right. ...YAY ONE-PUNCH KNOCKOUTS! Emoticons! :bbb:bbb:bbb:bbb:happy:happy

He certainly doesn't lessen the value of the middleweight championship or anything.

A lot of the lineal champs would certainly outclass or simply devour him but I might like him over, say, Terry Downes. I would also like that fight...very, very much.

I'd kinda like to see him fight Hugh Downs.

I wasn't being silly!! The styles of Maravilla and the Paddington Express would blend gorgeously.

    (how about Hugh Grant?)

I'd like to see Grant VS a lot of guys. Like Tyson. But that's another story involving me calling bull**** on that "Oh, ladies, I'm so British and hesitant and stuttery and charming." **** you, Hugh Grant! I bet he's really from Brooklyn or something and he's a conman. ******* jerkface poopy pantsed stupid head.

I've been a Martinez fan since 2003 thinking he was world class classy operator back then before he'd ever really got in with any contenders. I kept waiting for him to get his title shot or at least mix in the top class but it never happened and I thought he'd missed his chance. Very happy he's finally made it to the top and I think he could go down as a borderline great, these 2 last wins are pretty special. Fighter of the year

Nope. Big Al Green will be FOTY when they rightfully reverse that TKO judgment to an ear and temple punch DQ victory. You can't punch someone on the sides, back or front of the head like that, you'll hurt them! Johnson is so dirty.

I don't think they would, I could even see him giving problems to both Hagler and Monzon with his speed, movement and counter punching. Stylistically he could give Greb problems, as Greb lost to southpaws and men who could match/surpass his speed
