It reminded me of that KO, he was out before he hit the canvas

If youve ever landed a shot like that you dont even have to look at your opponent, the feel of a solid connect like that you know its a knockout.

I hope there's a fight 3 and it's the best of the trilogy, then we could call the trilogy a modern classic. Fingers crossed.

    What a ko.

after a ko like that, you think williams will still want to fight him.

also if williams would have fought pavlik as origially planned last year would this have happend back then?

I personally picked pavlik over williams when I heard of the fight a year ago, Im sure many others did as well he seems open for a good puncher.

Me and my mate were talking about that a while ago, Pavlik was my choice as well (really!), Williams is basically a swarmer, and Pavlik isn't the tidiest of punchers, but he'd probably outfight him stop him even, who knows?

I just saw the post-fight interview and Martinez said he isn't fighting him again, makes sense I suppose with Williams opting to fight at 154 instead. And yeah I don't think Williams should be too bothered about the ko, it happens, and he has beaten him once already. I gave the first fight to Williams so it was legit for me. This might damage Williams' confidence but Williams has heart so maybe it won't. We'll see.

It's only fitting that an Argentine should be middleweight champ...I like Martinez...even more since last night!

I don't think there's much point him fighting PW again.

Maybe he'll go for Felix Sturm...

I actually thought Paul looked better defensively last night. I think after watching Pacquiao-Margarito no one really realized how fast Sergio looked last night.

Yeah, because Winky has such a low workrate, just watch the Soliman fight, he only threw 1,000 punches. :-(

That would actually be a good fight. :good

When i hear this groundswell for Pac to fight Martinez, I'm reminded of the Peanuts cartoon:

Peanuts shakes his dad, lounging in a hammock.

"Quick! You have to fight Billy's dad with one hand tied behind your back!"

If by some long shot he were to both fight and beat Martinez...bring on the calls where people are going "If he really wants to challenge himself, he should fight the winner of the super six." :patsch

I'd rather see Pac fight at welterweight again, to be honest, even though I'd love to see Martinez get a huge payday.

I'd like the Berto fight for him. For the humor.

Why the winner? BE. Why not ALL SIX -- blindfolded?
