What does the term "floored" mean to you

Did you not know that the typhoon "Katrina 'floored' New Orleans"? So where is the floor when it is all water?

The lying was ok because most ESB posters comment on fights they did not actually see, but his logic is really flawed.

anyone who denies the actual definition and traditional definition of the term 'floored' just so they dont have to admit they were wrong not only needs to fitted for a safety hat they also have no right to breathe the same air as sane normal people.

 

Some people attempt to hijack and change meanings of words, or word usages sometimes.

When discussing boxing, "floored" means somebody got put on their ass, got knocked down, tasted canvas, etc. A ruled knockdown where a guys glove touched the canvas but he stayed upright, does not fall under getting "floored."

 

Yes you gave Froch a round where he landed 1 punch. I went over the round minute for minute showing you that Froch landed exactly one punch.

I have to disagree there. Depending on the situation if its a hard knock down and the guy is hurt but still managed the get his hands to hold him up I'd count that as beating floored.
