Not sure why some people can't understand that some people just age better than others. That is in part to do with genetics and boxing dedication. Hopkins has both the genetics and boxing/work ethic to last until his mid-fortes. Another example is the K-bros, who have excellent dedication to the sport. What i mean by dedication is staying in shape and watching what you eat.

An example of poor dedication is Hatton, he was a very good fighter but those binge eating/drinking sessions straight after his fights is what took at least 3-4 years of his boxing years...

Hmm Tua didn't seem to do much "Huge damage" to Demetrice King or Friday Ahunanya.........so I doubt Tua can really have any major impact on the division now.

Not only is he 38,but he has been massively inactive in recent years.

Hes fought a grand total of 12 fights in the last 8 and a half years

Hes also been in some serious wars in his time, and in some cases (Lewis) has taken pretty serious beatings. Hes been in with a lot of the top fighters of the past 15 years.

I really miss David. He was exciting and gave us some great performances. He could have been champion, obviously, but he failed to do so because of poor career management.

He still gave us some incredible knockouts and great fights.

What more can you ask for?

Yeah - we miss that "David" too.

But when you look at the above video you see all the power still there - but the conditioning is truly lacking. Such a waste. Maybe this will shock him into training harder.

We wish. He is only 38.
