Pacquiao was brutally knocked out two fights ago, but he was able to come back and beat a prime undefeated elite fighter, who beat the guy who knocked him out... To me, it speaks volumes of the kind of fighter Pac is, and is the definition of greatness, being able to get up and fight your way back to the top.

One of my favorites in Roy Jones failed to do this.

    Thoughts?

Yes, and a prime undefeated elite boxer who was universally ranked top 5 P4P (some put him as high as #2) who was as motivated as **** for a win.

It also means Pacquiao now has won titles in 7 divisions not at catch weights.

Does a good deal imo. He beat a top 3 p4p fighter who was undefeated and in his prime. Tim will probably make the HOF himself one day. Also the notion that he never fought a fast, slick African American fighter was shattered. Pac killed a lot of birds with one stone. A great win.

And the win also means he's achieved the highly unusual feat of taking the same fighter's 0 twice.
