That post was a response to the one quoted above it.

You are helping make Boo's point exactly man...and I guess don't see it.

The point is, there's NO ****ING COMPARISON to Quintana to Bernard ****in' Hopkins.

    Get it?:p

Booradley was trying to say that KP only looses to the likes of BHOP ie ATG fighters where as PW looses to the likes of Quintana, which is true but PW avenged that defeat convincingly which is something KP will never and could never do as regards BHOP.
This IMO makes this a very loose/invalid comparison other than that I agree with what he's said in the main.

    Yeah, yeah, blah, blah...

The only difference with PW compared to JT in the 2nd fight with KP is that Paul will be on his ass eventually!

Pavliks main problem is going to be dealing with the constant activity level/movement that Williams is able to have for 12 solid rounds. Pavlik has never faced a boxer with the movement/skills/stamina of a Williams outside of BHOP, and Pavlik and all his fans have every excuse in the book as to why he lost that one.

Both fighters logged really poor performances in their respective losses, but their is a huge gulf in talanet between the fighters thay lost to.

There were a lot of thoughts, ideas, and facts I did not include in my original post. It would have been to long had I went into greater detail.

I'm simply trying to point out the fallacy of all the one liner predictions I keep seeing. I want those guys to show me a fight plan that leads to a Williams win. I could lay one out, but I won't. Last time I did that KP got his ass kicked by a guy who used a VERY similar plan:hey

Williams has shown better small moves in footwork than anyone i've seen Pavlik fight. Toss in workrate, mobility and his seemingly decent power (which may not come up) and you've got a package Pavlik has never seen.

If Williams carries his power he wins. If his power isn't all that, he still might win if he's tough. If he doesn't have decent power at MW or top toughness he loses.

    My money is on Williams.

    nah the points are trash...

the whole argument is trash .... cant judge boxing for ****

theres a big difference between 90 loopy telegraphed punches & 90 crisp sharp aimed punches

theres a difference between jermain taylor and a guy who never gets tired
paul is faster then jermain taylor over all -1 punch speed jt might have an edge

the size is going to be irrelevant.. if paul loses its not going to be because of size

this whole thread reeks of ****

Boo, good post, but I think you left out an important fact. The percentage of punches landed by both parties. I know Mikeyc has pointed this out in the past, and I think this will play out to be huge in this fight. PW may throw 800-1000 punches, but he lands in the low-20's.

KP lands in the upper 30's to low 40's at a comparable output. And they're harder, straighter punches.

Pavlik is a "good" overall basic fighter with heart and a good punch. He does nothing exceptional and he defeated a good/great boxer in Taylor for whatever reason; style matchup, psyche, just better. He is now taking on an exceptional athlete/boxer in Williams, which he has never done (exception-BHOP). We will see how a good boxer with basic solid skills will beat a boxer with exceptional skills and stamina.

I wouldnt bother wasting your time with this cretin, but I know exactly what you mean as regards Quintana and BHOP.
The problem is its true what they say "you cant argue with someone thats stupid" because you make a point and their too dumb to understand it which seems to be the case here!:good

    I'll make two points:

    1; Pavlik/Taylor II was not at 160.

2; What are the odds that Pavlik has to change up his game plan mid fight due to injuries to both hands like he did with Taylor? Pretty slim I'd say.
