that was a serious question, i know you would have covered a lot in your pro days

as a boxer doing good, decided to fully dedicate myself around 12 months ago as i have about 7 years left in my prime, training is better than ever and better than most guys in my club, leinster championships in october so thats the next big thing

are you coaching now?i am helping out my old coach with some under 14's defo an area i love doing and will stay doing and have ambitions to progress as a coach/trainer

Yes mate its goin well. Just picking up as much info as I can. I'm a personal trainer first, boxing coach second but i've got a lot to learn on both sides. I love boxing and the lads i've been coaching have improved massively under my instruction. I'm a licenced pro trainer so I am getting good experience by working in the corners etc... I have watched the sport for years. I've fought in good company amateur and professional. I know boxing well and i'm pretty certain i'll do well as a coach once i've served my apprenticeship. There are some really, really **** coaches out there.

A typical session in the boxing gym for me would be....

3 mile run up hill.... then come back to the gym and do 4-5, 3 minute rounds of shadow boxing..... then I put the gloves on and do bag work (usuually 8 rounds) do some pad work or sparring inbetween maybe.... then I'll do 100 push ups, 200 sit ups, 200 leg squats and 50 squat thrusts.... although I may do any number of different exercises at the end.

I also train in the fitness gym and use the cycling and running machines.... along with some weights sometimes, pull ups and other stuff aswell.
