Very precise good list. These are always difficult to make. Only changes I would make are: Swithc around 2 and 3. Move Cotto and PW down a couple of spots. Apart from that it is perfect.
Wlad will have possiblities to move into top 10 against Valuev, Haye, Povetkin and perhaps Chagaev. The opportunities are there. Wlad's inconsistent chin hurts him of course in the ranking, but the opportunities will come again. Rahman doesnt do anything to it though.
A top 30 list that I truly believe in will take a while, but I'll try to get there eventually. 11. Ivan Calderon 12. Vic Darchinyan 13. Nate Campbell 14. Juan Manuel Lopez 15. Chris John ...
16. Chad Dawson 17. Wladimir Klitschko 18. Juan Diaz 19. David Haye 20. Kelly Pavlik I'm stopping here.
1)pac/ pbf if u count him as active 2)calzaghe 3)JMM 4)bhop 5)Vasquez 6)Wlad 7)dawson 8)PW 9)Ivan Calderon 10)R marquez 11)Darchinyan 12)JML 13)margo 14)kESSLER 15)Bute 16)cotto 17)Jermain taylor 18)Hatton 19)pavlik 20)Haye 21)linares 22)guzman 23)v klitschk 24)abraham 25)gamboa 26)berto 27)clottey 28)cabellero 29)donaire 30)bradley quick one may have missed a few...and andre dirrell will be near the top very shortly....edit forgot the galaxy warrior
i respect this list...I just don't like chris john cuz he won't leave indonesia...and P4P is tough these days...hard to say KP is better P4p than gamboa linares and co many other guys...but he did ko JT and pantera
his chin is fine he has dominated 10 fights in a row...who cares about those guys..he will crush them all...esp povetkin chagaev and valuev...he is a machine right now...def a top 10
:good:happy:goodIt's just hard for most people to envision a heavyweight as top 10 p4p but Wlad has definately earned top 10. The funny thing is he is just entering his prime so onward and upward for Wlad.
Updated Shane mosely skyrockets to Margarito's #6 and Margarito plummets to Mosely's old spot +3 Even with the wrap scandal, I feel obligated to drop Cotto a spot or 2.
I think it is for reasons that there ain't any respectable American in the Heavies that HW is now being neglected in the American mainstream of boxing...
