    Boxing is completely rigged. Jai is so much better than Canelo yet gets zero support for his title ambitions, while Canelo gets the easy fights and chooses his mandatory.

    His chances against Opetaia are poor; his chances against Benavidez are pretty good. Add to that the Benavidez fight is much more lucrative; all in all I can't blame him for taking it.

    Canelo built a career off of risks(and cherry picks), he also moved up in weight several times. Canelo has put in the work, Opetaia has not.

    And unfortunately for Opetaia, he is fighting at Cruiser, a division no one really cares for. Opetaia would get a lot more attention if he fought at either light-heavyweight or heavyweight.

    at the end of the day, if Turki can't come up with unification money, i don't see Zurdo risking it vs Opetaia.
