If you are on about Floyd vs. SSM, then I disagree that Pac vs Cotto is at the same level. You have to remember that neither Pac nor Cotto is an American citizen and the PPV numbers we are comparing are from American viewers.

Glad I did it too because at one time I thought it was also a part of the original contract that Pac signed.

Dan Rafael already confirmed that the drug testing was part of negotiations from day one.

I think this just about does it *******s. Pacquiao bounced long after Mayweather's demands were on the table.

No response from Roach's statement that Mayweather is afraid of Manny and that "Manny will pass any test in the world", ........The ******* goes mute when these things are brought to their attention.:deal

.....instead, dodong is clinging to the fact that Pacquiao signed an agreement that Honest Bob Arum tossed at his face.........who's to say Arum drew up the contracts with the agreed upon stipulations and Pac refused to sign it unless the OSDT was removed.
.......of course if this is what happened, Bob Arum certainly is'nt going to let us know about it.

......but the bottom line is that Mayweather never signed any contract.......the one's he would have signed needed to have the stipulations that were agreed upon and which Freddie Roach himself agreed to that it was fair......
In fact, Roach had agreed that a 5 day window was fair......Pac turned down a 14 day window.

Well....after months of not revealing to the fans and sports media people what weight it would be at....we learned on the day before the match that he got Juan Manuel Marquez to agree to have the weight for the match agreed to after the weigh-in(something unprecedented in the sport's history as far as I know). All due respect to Mayweather, but that tactic had to have sent a red flag up for the Pacquaio camp.

Dan Rafael didn't say that olympic stlye drug testing was part of negotiations from day 1.

but i can see how a Pac-hater would hear that in those comments even though it wasn't said.

that is total bull****. The bout agreement was changed to 147 and filed with the commission prior to the weigh-in, as required. Marquez got his money because the original agreement was for 144.

Back then he wouldnt have asked for anything else. All Pac had to do was take the tests, or all Floyd had to do was drop the demands.

This time round though, after his ppv with mosley does very well, the purse split negotiation will be a lot more tricky.
