What ever happened to Amonstat?

    the guy who fought Katsidis in a great fight.... I heard he had some brain injury after the fight and then never heard what happened to him, anyone know?

    p.s. rumour says it has been superseded by Monistat.

    Yep Told to never fight again after the fight with Katsidis.

    if im not mistaken he's working as a municipal employee now, somewhere in Visayas in the Philippines.

    I heard he had the all clear shortly after and will fight on. His fight with Katsidis was a war.

    No that wasnt the case. They said he should retire i cant remember were i saw the article the doctors told him you could fight again but there were huge risks.

    I badly want to see a rematch with katsidis, that was a good one

    His fight with Katsidis was one of the most exciting fights i have ever seen. So much back and forth action. In one round, Katsidis would have the momentum. Next round, Amonstat would start taking over. It was back and forth.

    I hope we see him back in the ring. To be honest, he impressed me more than Katsidis in that fight

    i agree WHOLE!!!! heartedly..

    i was wayy more impressed with czar in that fight then i was with katsidas... if czar managed to not get ko'd i feel he might have been able to pull it out... he was a ****ing warrior and i was mad to hear he got brain damage and probably couldnt return to boxing..

    hopefully his damange isnt permant and he finds a way back to the ring ... dude was no joke!
