what ever happened to kenny anderson

Wasn't he suspended a few fights after his war with Groves? I don't exactly remember the details but he was banned for something.

 

He got banned for testing positive for speed. 2 year ban. Won't come back now i don't think

 

good fighter -- but think he has been out too long to come back

 

Didn't he fail a medical ?

 

This is how I remember it, but that was more than 2 years ago now so I don't think he's planning on making a comeback.

Shame, he is a hard, hard man.

 

Almost had Groves away

 

After a 2 week camp. Groves was saved by the bell if I remember correctly.

 

Yes he was great in groves fight and was talking up a rematch after. Seemed he fell off the rails

Was a mean looking and sounding fella

 

I thought he was banned for some kind of criminal behaviour. Like threatened someone with a gun or something like that. Maybe i ve just made that upbut thought there was some kind of trouble he got himself into outside the ring.

 

Just looked it up...was up on attempted murder charges for repeatedly hitting a guy with a hammer.

 

That was well before the Groves fight I think.

 

Ah...think it was the year before the groves fight mate. Always thought it was after and put paid to his career. Apparently he was aquitted...the victim of the hammer attack was some kind of drug dealer. The drug ban was news to me. Sure i read somewhere he didnt really love boxing just done it cause he was pretty good at it.

 

Was a tough dude. Gave Groves a real fright.
