The guy who fought Gatti a few years ago and was knocked out by a bodyshot? He beat some pretty good fighters, but togethe a solid winning streak, and then just... Fell off the planet.
Dorin retired from the ring after the loss to Gatti, said he wanted to spend more time with his family and was tired of fighting. He was also fed up with making weight all the time and his heart wasn`t into the sport anymore so he hung up the gloves.
He was a decent fighter, and he was blatantly robbed vs Spadafora. No way Spaddy even deserved a draw in that fight. Dorin beat him clearly. I dont even think he was motivated when he fought Gatti. Mentally he was already retired before that fight IMO.
gatti happened to him! lol jk ..man i remember that fight ..i remember getting enough to get me a couple of drinks and a couple of pints of heinikan ,..got all situated to see a war ... bang bang bam BOOM! fight over after two rounds ... i looked at my dad and just said well thats thunder lmao
I've posted this in other threads, but his fight with Balbi is one of the best fights since 2000, better than Gatti/Ward overall.
