old conventional wisdom from UK fans: Dirrell lost fight due to negativity new conventional wisdom: Haye wins fight despite negativity Man, the negativity meme died real fast when it wasn't convenient anymore. Try being consistent for once in your lives.
There negative was more about the holding rather than activity. If activity was their problems then they are being hypocritical.
Yes, the hypocrisy is rampant. At least we know that Froch will get thrashed when he meets Kessler, and we know that Haye would get thrashed by either Klit if he ever grew a pair and fought them. I mean hell, if Haye runs all night from Valuev - who doesn't exactly have dynamite in his fists, how would he fight against either Klit? (answer: He won't)
it's ok you believe what you like. The truth however is that most of the British fans on this site, myself included, thought that Dirrell won the fight as he outboxed Froch who didn't land all night. David Haye is the new WBA heavyweight champion for the same reason.
here we go with the "uk" fan thing again, hello, america and britain arent the only countries in the world, I had Dirrell winning easily, and Haye winning easily, check my previous posts if you must.
Ok, fair enough. Maybe it's just a small but extremely vocal minority that think that both Froch and Haye won.
wow, so did I, why? because we think that what they did was BOX BETTER THAN THE OTHER GUY! do we agree? forget what the British or American fans think, the world is bigger than that. Have faith in the world for knowing good boxers when they see them, and how to judge a fight.
I don't know. It seems that the majority of the Brit fans thught both Froch and Haye won. That could just be an illusion caused by a vocal minority - but I don't think so. I genuinely think it is the minority of Brit fans who think both Haye and Dirrell won. Good work to those Brits who see it that way, it would seem to be the least inconsistent viewpoint. But I think you are in the minority amongst your countrymen.
Negativty is running for 12 rounds. Haye didn't run, he boxed off the back foot. I had Haye winning clearly and Dirrell by 1 or 2 rounds. Both Froch and Valuev were the only ones in their fights who were ever hurt which tells the truth, really. It's a shame Dirrell didn't get the nod but he'll come again. Hopefully Valuev won't.
I think Froch lost and Im British but Haye won, he fought the right fight, not the attractive one but the fight he needed to get the belt, now he can get back to putting his opponents on their backs.
