    I believe they were to cap out at around 210 or something?

    Wilder was proposed as champion but I don't recall any actual matches ever taking place, although this could have gotten us the coveted Wilder vs Usyk match

    The category is very necessary as the cruiser upper limit and the practical lowest weight of the heavies is a gap too big. While some low weight boxers gain like 2-3-4-5 lbs (which is pathetic) and change classes. So the bridger can help for a better transitioning from cruiser to heavy or just allow some not that tall, nor short to try at some serious weight.

    What happens with - nothing in reality.

    Whoa, permanently? Just in the last couple of weeks? He was scheduled to face Ajagba earlier this month.

    Damn, well...there ya go. He may very well go down in history as the division's only ever titlist, barring some renewed interest.

    Hopefully dumped in the waste hole where it belonged. At least give it a decent name. The division’s name had “Short Term Novelty” written all over it. Was it supposed to be a tribute to a young boy or something? The name ****ed it all up.

    Hopefully this silly idea has been scrapped. Doubt it though, the alphabet org parasites are always looking for more sources of revenue

    If Bridger became a thing all that would happen is a bunch of second rate 6'4 boxers would cut down to 210 for the weigh in and then rehydrate to 220 on fight night. There's literally no point.

    Honestly I think Cruiser is verging on a pointless division when you have giants like Okolie and Riakphore fighting it. If you're taller than 6'3 with a big frame then get your chicken ass into the heavyweight division.

    I don't think so but what else can be done is revising the upper limits of all divisions, thus increasing a bit the light heavy and the cruiser.
