    ....Uk boxers Errol Christie and Kirkland Laing? Kirkland famously beat possibly the greatest boxer ever(top 5), Roberto Duran.

    I know Laing was in a bad fall a couple of years back. I think he had a bit of TV time before that talking about life post boxing.

    I loved his foot stamp- used to have me in fits watching the opponents reaction, the 'what the f*** was that???' look on their face

    Last I heard Lang was living rough on the streets as a hobo. Seemed very out of it, very sad.

    I remember Errol Christie, they kept building that guy up as a future champion but he kept getting knocked out.

    He was an outstanding amateur but I think he just didn't have the chin for the professional game.

    I always remember the pre fight brawl with Kaylor and they built on that by having a good scrap.

    I got to see him at the end of his career on the undercard of Benn/Eubank; totally out of his depth against Watson.
