What exactly are the issues holding up Wladimir-Povetkin?

According to Vladimir Hyrunov, they have now agreed on testing (it will be done by both RUSADA and NADA).

    http://boxingnews.com.ua/ru/novosti/5469-hrjunov-klichko-budet-testirovat-nada-a-povetkina-rusada

But now Bernd Bonte says ('scene it) they have not completely agreed on testing (he says there is no problem with Wlad being tested by multiple agencies, but he wants Povetkin to be tested by NADA) and he's saying there are several OTHER issues holding it up too, and he says there's only a 50-50 chance of it happening.

The article mentions "financial flow, ring doctors, the local commission" but doesn't say exactly what the disagreements are. Can anyone clarify exactly what those issues are?

(The purpose of this thread is to seek information. No flaming/baiting/bashing/personal attacks PLEASE).

it will happen, because if it doesn't i'm pretty sure that either one or both would be stripped by the WBA if the fight isn't made for whatever reason

    Yes.

Which makes me wonder, who would Wlad fight next? The disagreement here seems to be with Hryunov not Sauerland, so Wlad fighting Kubrat Pulev might be possible.

A lot of these 'news' articles are recycled back and forth 'news' from different Countries reporting the same story from a couple of days ago then some other Nation's paper does the same thing. We're basically seeing the exact same quotes from Bernte that we seen about a week ago. There's Chinese whispers going on.

k2 wont fight on another promotion. Goldenboy invited them to share a bill at the Barclays centre and they refused. They must have full control and chose the ref. They're a disgrace.

You have the unified HW champ fighting and some jokers that bring nothing to the table want to "co-promote" the fight, what would you or any sensible promoter say to that?

Just the usual Klitschko obsession with having absolutely everything, even down to the most minute detail, under their control. The problem here is that K2 lost the purse bid and, for once, the tail is wagging the dog, therefore Wlad can't have everything his own way. The Klitschko's are such control freaks, it wouldn't surprise me if Wlad vacates the WBA belt.

Have you even read the article. Golden boy promotions had a deal with the Barclays centre and Wlad wanted to fight on a date Golden Boy had already agreed to with the venue for their own boxing event. What was Golden boy going to do cancel their agreed date with the Barclays centre just because Wlad wanted to fight on that specific date? They were generous to offer to alter their own event and allow a co promoted event, they could have simply refused.

I am shocked how a money-mongering capitalist like Bonte can actually consider leaving a $17 million payday on the table and walk away from it. It makes no sense. He's highly irrational and driven by emotion.

Wlad will only fight if he is had his own personal drug testers and refs who allow him to cheat. Simple as that.
