My thoughts exactly. The huge purse bid from out of nowhere raises massive alarm bells in my mind. You don't pump that much money into something and not expect to get a healthy return somewhere down the line. There's definite dodginess afoot.

With shameful, cowardly behaviour like this, I'm surprised "the other guy" has any fans left. Boo this man! Boooooooooooo!!

It was a calculated move. They knew Wlad's arsehole would fall out the moment he didn't get things his own way. Wlad's been EVT'd before the EVT.

i will be deeply dissapointed with K2 if they let this fight fall over, i see that Povetkin has no problems with any testing, i've been a fan of Wlad and Vitali, but this looks like some real shady business

:good Nice to see you're waking up to the scumbaggery of K2. You're like Roddy Piper in They Live, putting on the sunglasses for the first time.

i'm not a Klittard, *****, ******* or any of the other Tards here, just a normal boxing fan who appreciates what's best in the sport

i'm also a Lennox Lewis fan, and i don't complain, as many do, about how he supposedly ducked a rematch with Vitali blah blah blah

    :deal:good

    You get it too,

As the age old saying foes "If it's too good to be true, then it probably is."

Wladimir should be very cautious, I dont blame them

I have a theory, call me a conspiracy freak, but I believe the fight is being set up for sole purpose of putting on the event.. And getting out of paying him and making sure Povetkin does not lose, or if he gets beaten.....It gets nullified some how.

Check out this scenario the fight happens...

Wlad beats the **** out of Povetkin in a boring UD, fight. (as expected)
But post fight tests come back positive for Wlad (Mysteriously)

He is stripped, fight is changed to NC (no loss for Povetkin) and his titles are up for grabs during the course of his suspension. :deal

and.....if he flops drug test the purse comes in to question? Doe she get paid, how much? Or does he get it taken away?.. Russian country, Russian Laws, Russian rules..... :thumbsup:thumbsup:deal

Taking Wlad out of the sport for a while would give Povetkin, Time to shine as well as other heavy weights. But with Wlad and Vitali in the mix, they are second hand fiddles.

Russian Anti-Doping Agency certified by WADA. Could you trust them?

    :smoke 2012
Marina Rodchenkova, part of the Russian team that won the world title in 1988, sent to prison for trafficking in testosterone, oxandrolone and methandienone.

Her brother Grygoriy Rodchenkov, close friend of Hrunov, happens to be the head of the Moscow anti-doping lab certified by WADA.

Proof: Article in russian newspaper titled "Give us Klitchko Blood!" and photo -Hrunov with Rodchenkov on the press conference 2010

very weird to say the least

Always liked Wlad and as champion he has the right and is in the position of power to call the shots, Ive never found any of the K2 business to be out of line considering what others have done in the past

anyway I will be disappointed if the fight does not happen because Povetkin actually looks like he would actually make it to the ring this time

Wlad has never fractured the belts and always fights his mandatory challenges, lets see how he goes from here

(Quote button isn't pulling up quotes right now for some reason so I had to copy it manually)

This is what I've been saying. That ridiculous purse bid can be see as an investment toward imminent successive fights in Moscow. Based on Wlad's status as a heavy favorite, it's an extremely foolish gamble unless there is a contingency plan to somehow ensure Povetkin doesn't come out of this the loser.

OMG these damn Wlad nuthuggers are trying to make excuses for Wlads big duck of Povetkin. K2 gets outbidded and now there going to try to drug Wlad or cheat him out of his title. My god Wlad has some brainwashed fans. In there eyes he can do no wrong or be beat. But the same people are talking **** about Fury claiming he ducked 9 ko Pulev to fight Haye. Yeah what a duck by Fury taking on someone lots better. But Wlad get 4 easy ****ing fight and now he ducks Povetkin. Wlad and his nut sucking fans can go to hell. Just strip him of his belts and let him and his fans enjoy him beating up people that has no chance of winning. Wlad is a ***** for ducking Povetkin. Screw all these excuses his fans say. Plenty of people has fought in Russia will no problems. Roy Jones James Toney and nothing happend. Wlad needs to get his ass in that ring. If not strip him of his WBA right now. Povetkin will be true WBA champ because he won the fight by winning the bid. K2 try to put a cheap bull**** bid and that is why they lost. The Klitschko's and K2 are a bunch of greedy frauds.

Wlad should just hand the WBA belt over to Povetkin immediately. We should always have just one paper champion.
