That’s a good point, him being nervous took all by surprise but knowing what we now know about the handwraps is it any wonder he was nervous, must of been seething inside.
Not unlike Crawford at 140,that said pro boxing has always been about beating those you should beat and stepping up on the night against the best.
Imagine if Hagler was around today, take away Hearns a former Welterweight/light middleweight,Duran(did he fight Duran?)and Leonard in his last fight and his reign was against very ordinary opposition but we don’t knock him for it. All well and good being a Mayweather and having the luxury to set catch weights against guys desperate for a payday. In reality the majority have to fight their mandatories and stay in their division.
GGG can fight exactly like last time where he won clearly and Canelo probably can't use PED's this time
because he is bigger and stronger naturally, he has the ability to change the fight and come out on top. It is all about physical strength. If he comes out working the body more and he is not hit and hurt doing it, he can stop Canelo late maybe. Either way I think he wins this time, unless one of those counters Canelo landed last time which did not hurt GGG hurts him this time. If Canelo hurts GGG the fight is over.
I'm with the OP. I think Canelo made the better adjustments in the last fight and it is up to GGG to come out with some new tactics. Feinting might work well. Get Canelo to throw a counter to a feint, then tag him.
I think someone breathed word to GGG when he arrived at the venue that Clenelo was going to be wearing loaded wraps and jacked silly fully Clebuterol lol
That too. What do you mean catches a strap? I know what you mean about the ads on the ring. Too many slips happen that are preventable by not having a well made ring surface. Too many times the ads are slippery and causes fighters to slip. But it bothers me whenever I See a cameraman on the apron. It actually affects the movement of the fighters sometime because they know he's there and have to avoid leaning back hard against the ropes near the cameraman. In Khan Vargas, there was one during the fight just standing there near the corner. He just doesn't belong there, no camera angle is worth that. He's blocking fans view of the fight and he's just taking up space. I really am waiting for the day a fighter leans back hard into the ropes where the cameraman is standing and knocks him back into the 3rd row. That would be hilarious and we'd stop seeing cameraman on the apron real fast.
Some cameras have a strap hanging down. I see it all the time in public workouts or sparring. Not so much in actual fights.
Do you agree that cameramen shouldn't be on the apron during fights? Not only does it block the crowd's view but it just looks odd. The only people standing on any part of the ring should be the two combatants and the referee.
Absolutely. It shouldn't be hard to build a platform off the edge of a ring for cameramen. I don't watch fights in person but if it can effect the fight directly then it should be avoided.
