What exactly has Mosley done that make him so great?

Thats not unexpected, you can never please all of the people at any one time...people always see things differently. Mosley is old and certainly not prime, no denying that...for years floydettes went on about how Pac hasnt beaten a top fighter past 30yrs old lol yet here is Mosley at 38/39? That doesnt change the fact that he is currently rated top 5 p4p and WW champ.

I like mosley and all, but I cant help but think that other than the first DLH and the margarito fights, he did'nt do nothing spectacular in between. Plus I cant help it that others think margarito does not deserve a second chance for what he did ( whether he did it knowingly or not is a different issue ), yet you got mosley who admitted he was using steroids and was part of a big scandal (balco) and yet he might be looking at a career high payday at pbf and possibly pac....Cheating is cheating, no matter what! If mosley deserves a second chance, then margo does..


And i dont even like margarito...

In my opinion Mosley is a better fighter than Oscar, Tito, Vargas, Mayorga, Barrera (close), Morales (close), Toney, Calzaghe, and many many more.

But p4p he's not as good as Pac, Hopkins, Lennox Lewis, RJJ, Holyfield, Floyd and quite a few other ATGs

 

I agree he is overrated but i think your being a bit excessive.


There is no shame in losing to Wink/Forrest, they would probably have given Mayweather all he could handle to.

 

Like I have said before:

If Mayweather isn't slated to fight Mosley, he's a beast and Mayweather is afraid.

If Mayweather is going to fight Mosley, Mosley is a feeble old man that wasn't that good anyway.

DLH x2, Margarito, Mayorga, Collazo, Vargas x2 ain't that bad. He also has some other decent wins like Leija and Marquez.

If you can count to 5 you can come to the conclusion that i mentioned 5 other things besides the error about Mosley's first fight with Vargas, which was just something that popped out at me. Also i didn't say the threadstarter has 0 credibility, the guy i replied to did, i just said -absolutely!- in reply because like him i found it very odd that someone would say that Mosley was losing a fight that in truth he simply wasn't.

 

Mosley never fought any Marquez as far as i know, maybe you mean Molina?

Fought DLH in his prime and beat him, tested himself on many occasions(Cotto, Marg, Collazo, Wright, Vargas, Forrest) and rematching guys he didn't need to. Hell he fought Wright and Forrest when he didn't need to. One helluva fighter and sure to be in HOF. Besides the whole steroids situation what's not to like about him? He fought everyone.

 

I'm pretty sure he fought Raul Marquez. Not 100% though.
