What exactly makes people think that Andre Ward is such a big number?

Okay I'm a big GGG fan, but GGGunbeatable if you think Froch is a bum or average then you are either very new to the sport or YDKSAB. Carl Froch is the epitome of an elite fighter, he has one of the best resumes of the last decade, an unbreakable will, an iron chin, and is tough as nails, he's as hard an out in the sport as you can possibly face.

Groves wasn't the first puncher he faced either, Kessler, Bute, Abraham and arguably Taylor and Jean Pascal are all bigger punchers than George.

And from a technical standpoint Ward is at least 2 levels above Floyd Mayweather, and if you can't take your blinders off and see that, then there is no hope for you.

And for the record Dirrell when he faced Froch was in his prime and undefeated, this is the same Dirrell barring the 2 KD's would have had a draw against James DeGale just last year. Losing or having a close match to a young Prime Dirrell is nothing to be ashamed of.

Abraham wasn't shot when Ward fought him, he'd only lost to that "bum" Carl Froch, which is nothing to be ashamed of either.

I have written at least 4 or 5 long articles hyping Golovkin, Andre Ward beats Golovkin and I say that without a doubt in my mind, stop it, you're making GGG fans look like stark raving lunatics and it reflects poorly on the rest of GGG's fans that happen to be logical.:good

And for the record I'd give Froch a 60 to 70% chance to beat GGG as well, Andre and Carl are levels above anyone Golovkin has come close to stepping in the ring with.

I want to see Ward vs a guy who has elite level skills, he's faced some good fighters but none who are really very skilled. I think Kovalev is that guy and we'll see if he's as great as some people say, don't get me wrong, he's a good fighter as it is now but some people think he's a SMW/LHW version of Floyd skillwise, that's what I don't agree with. I think Floyd's much superior.

Why are you guys so obsessed with Golovkin? No, Ward doesn't beat him, but that's not topic here. We talk about the elite here. People compare Ward to Floyd, which is beyond ridiculous.
Froch is a nobody compared to the likes of Manny, JMM, DLH, Canelo etc.
A simple no one whose best win is who exactly? Guy got outboxed against Dirrell!

Even my username does not even stand for GGG the boxer, but for Good Guy Greg. :hey

But somehow you and many other GGG haters talk about him even in Ali threads.

This post was not about Gennady.

Since when is Abraham a puncher? Whom did he knock out? If I hear about a puncher, I talk about Wladimir, GGG, Kovalev, AJ .. currenty examples.

Oh shut the **** up and don't even attempt to play your ****ing childish games with me. Your agenda is obvious as it could be, you're no wizard in concealing it.

If you think Carl Froch is a no one, that means you're a flaming idiot who should probably follow another sport, why don't you educate yourself on Mikkel Kessler, Lucian Bute, and Jean Pascal **** for brains and come back to me later and tell me that. Dirrel also beat GGG in the ams, he's kind of a good boxer, and you'd know that if you had any kind of ability to understand the sport in the least.

Ward shouldn't be compared to Floyd because he's better, his skillset is far more diverse, maybe if you ever watched a Ward match then you'd know that, but you probably haven't because you're just an ignorant fanboy who loves 1 fighter and 1 fighter only, and probably doesn't follow anyone else.

When did I ever say that Pascal was a bum? Pascal in his prime beat Bernard Hopkins and Chad Dawson, and not a drained Chad Dawson either, the Pascal that Froch fought was a beast, and the Pascal that Kovalev fought the first time around was still very good, Kovalev shaved years off of his career though and he wasn't quite the same for the rematch.

Who said Kovalev didn't beat anybody? He's proven his worth, GGG IS the one ever body is still waiting on.

Pascal was very good, but I don't give him credit for the draw he had with Hopkins the first time. And he did beat a legit Dawson.

Why don't you give him credit for it, it was a close fight, a draw is a draw, its better than most could achieve against BHop. Granted without the KD he'd have lost, but it was a good performance regardless.

You said he beat Hopkins. No he didn't, I won't credit a draw as a victory especially since I think Hopkins won that fight.

I'm a big GGG fan too, but GGG unbeatable if you think Andre Ward isn't a top fighter you clearly don't know much about boxing. He's a brilliant technical boxer, not much power admiottedly, but extremely good technique and very hard to hit.

Furthermore he cleaned out his division 168 lb and is now moving to LHW to challenge the best guy there (Kovalev). Froch, Dawson, Kessler, Abraham are all top-quality wins on his resume. Why the Ward hate?

The Winky fight was a Rare good Fight from Hopkins. I have that PPV recorded somewhere I might have to pull it out and rewatch it.
