He made the exact same mistake he did against Floyd last may...abondoned his jab in the championship rounds. He won't have a comfy lead against an opponent who lacks power if he does that against Floyd. He'll likely be either behind on points or in a close contest and if he decides to completely forget the jab...AGAIN...he'll suffer the same fate against Floyd. A loss.
No sir I do not im not trying to sell anything im just stating the facts and im just talking about the fight thats going to happen regardless if we want it or not. Accept it man you have little choice or just dont watch it.
I agree but thats IF he forgets his jab agian. His corner the last fight was awful Roach was too ****ing quiet it was kinda akward. Floyd Sr should help.
If one had NEVER seen any DLH fights before in his life, watching last nights fight might give the impression DLH's still a top contender in whatever the **** divsion he's fighting in. But judging DLH by his past fights, and considering how much smaller Stevie Forbes is, last night's fight was nothing to be impressed about. Unless you've lowered your standards. The DLH who lost to Shane in the first fight would likely have KO'd Forbes.
I blame Roach for much of that. Oscar looked terrible. Roach taught him to move forward without any head movement whatsoever, flat feet, and desperately trying to punish the body. Roach sucks ass.
Yeah horrible gameplan that last part u mentioned desperatley trying to punish the body I think had alot to do with his tiring out.
Floyd Sr was there last night when the jab disappeared from rounds 8-12,my attitude is this: You'd think if the fight was a TUNE UP...they'd be fine tuning that jab for those crunch rounds that Oscar gives up with ease. I'd love for him to take the 0 from Floyd's record...but if the ODLH who fought Forbes is the guy whose gonna show up for Floyd-Oscar II it'll be the same thing. No jab= No win.
What's so bad??? Well he sticks around like an "annoying fly in a pile ****". If he wants to keep fighting he should be fighting for a legitimate belt not money fights without bearings. He keeps going up and down in weight and commands who he wants to fight just because he can sell fights . . . but does he deserve it? Nohhhhhhhhhh !
I notice it did go away but I think Oscar was focusing more on trying to finish him. Floyd Sr said it in between rounds around then to start stepping it up. But im with you I would be kept the jab up in the late rounds and not even worry about trying for a KO.
Cause its bull****. He didnt look bad at all im not saying hes in his prime but he defientally isnt shot or looking like ****.
Yeah he didn't look bad at all . . . that's the purpose of why he picked the smaller Forbes . . . to make him look good. Forbes doesn't have a chance to beat him by either points or K.O. to begin with.
