What exactly will it take to get Wilder in the ring with AJ?

A loss. I genuinely believe that Wilder consider himself the best in the division. He is the longest reining champion (excluding Fury’s lineal status), has the most defences, the most prestigious belt and a staggering KO ratio. And he just “KO’ed Fury” because the “count was long”.

Most of us know, that the above is complete BS. But Wilder doesn’t, and as long as that’s the case, the fight won’t happen. It will take a humbling of Wilder, and until then, he won’t accept anybody calling the shots but him and his team.

Double like for this I totally agree they should all be fed dog food and forced to sleep in a shed on a bed of Lego then they would remain impartial, or kept in lab condition lmao until needed.

Really weird isn't it?last year I honestly thought they were both stringing us along and were nailed on to fight this year as big fights like this do take time but I was clearly wrong as the stuff Wilder is coming out with is now becoming child like as if it's become his mission to to stop Joshua getting the fight instead of him wanting to fight Joshua for those belts.
I mean what has it come to when they both gonna get ridiculous amounts of money and yet no mention of legacy or wanting to be involved in one of the biggest fights in a long time?
I refuse to e even talk about who offered who x amount of money as I couldn't care less and I detest the A side thing anyway but only someone deluded could now think that Wilder wants this fight.
fury threw a spanner in the works but you'd of thought he'd want the silverware wouldn't you?

I honestly don't think it will ever happen now anyway and as I've said all along I reckon that fight would go down like Charles Martin such is the gulf in class.

It's very lucrative being a judge and I got this info from Montero on his channel round the time of Adelaide Byrd,it was astonishing how much she was getting apparently.like you say no words need be exchanged,in their hotel suite there will be the bag of gifts which is all above board and the promise of more work.
they know who the cash cows are and in Canelos case he had 350million dollars riding on those results with Golovkin.Don't now now how else to put it when folk refuse to see what's in front of em.
wilder can do as he pleases in the US but imo getting outboxed by Fury is a total different thing to facing Joshua.

Your thread makes it sound like Wilder is scared of Joshua.

I think it might be the crop of heavyweights coming up that not only starts to push their way into a WBC mandatory position but give Joshua (or other future belt holders) other good options. Usyk is the first ... with Hrgović not far behind. Heavy hitters like Ajagba and Makhmudov are quite a way back, but I guess Wilder would much rather see a landscape with old and/or fat/slow HWs listed in the WBC top 15 than the likes of those two.

And wilder would be dumb to sign a contract with dazn of the 3 fight 100 million deal for a Joshua two fights in which he doesn't know what Joshua is getting. You don't think wilder vs Joshua if it happens with dazn and showtime can make some agreement that it can get more money? Think about it. Again that's not how it works. If wilder getting 40 million vs the Joshua fight? His team should know what Joshua is getting point blank period.

wilder isn't scared of anyone, can't stand the guy but you gotta admire his tenacity and belief in his power as technically he's at such a disadvantage.
no he ain't scared but there must be something more to this, did someone say he has five managers?how are they all supposed to agree.
they better hurry up about it cause of Usyk looks spectacular at the weight he's gonna go for Joshua or Wilder imo.

For Whyte to be installed as the WBC mandatory and Wilder being forced to accept the Whyte fight or be stripped - Wilder will then sign the AJ fight and elect not take a chance against Whyte with the payday on the line.

Wilder is shook of AJ - he is not looking for any smoke him unless it's absolutely unavoidable.

The guy above me macademics has basically got it right in my humble opinion. Although I don’t think Wilder is “shook” so to speak, I feel as soon as somebody who could potentially beat him gets called as his mando, we won’t see this fight.

If he gets in a position where (for example) they make Dillian Whyte or somebody he’s (his team’s) not too confident in beating his mando, then we’ll see them cash out at that point.

fury and wilder are both extremely "careful" in their choosing of opponents.
