What exactly will it take to get Wilder in the ring with AJ?

I don't think Wilder is scared parse but, for me, given Wilder has had 42 fights, he has shown himself to be risk averse. Ortiz was a dangerous match up........for half a dozen rounds by which time his tank was always likely to start emptying and Wilder would get him out of there and that very nearly back fired. Then you have Fury who had 2 exhibition fights after a 2 1/2 year after fight party and pretty much boxed Wilders ears off for 10 of 12 rounds.

I'll be honest and say that I fully expected Fury to show up ill prepared and to get KO'ed early doors. Although I don't rate Wilder at all as a boxer, let's be honest, he's ****ing useless, he can seriously bang. Now I'm pretty sure that Wilder and his team couldn't beleive their luck when Tyson Fury called out Wilder and that very nearly went wrong for team Wilder.

Now we have AJ who lets be honest has relatively few known weaknesses going into a match with Wilder. AJ will have a full camp, be in his prime, will be fully confident knowing he can compete with the very best and will likely expect himself to do a number early on Wilder.

Given how emotional Wilder is during fight build up and often in the ring, that tells me that there's a huge amount of nervous energy there. Wilders output is actually quite low and he'll often be behind on the cards before landing his Bingo punch. That's all very well against the vast majority of his opponents up til now but, against AJ, that's gonna be a problem and I think he knows it.

I genuinely don't feel Wilders scared, it's just that with AJ, he knows there's a genuine risk and he's going ALL OUT for the reward, maybe unrealistically though. I reckon we'll see before years end. If the fight ain't made by then, it never will be.

Wilder losing and nothing less. As soon as Wilder takes an L him and his team will look to start calling out Joshua and chasing that fight and not before. There's no way that Finkel and Uncle Allen will risk Wilder losing his 0 vs Joshua.

I honestly don't think Wilder or Joshua are boxers, but they punch hard.. Joshua is I think more talented than Wilder, but like you said Wilder can punch.. He extend his punches fully and puts a lot into them, but Joshua has to be physically stronger. I think the best guys of all of them who does not punch as hard is Fury. If they were all the same in punching ability, Fury would beat them all.

    I agree most part.

Wilder's output gets low due to his fullbody motion in his shots. Its like 100 percent energy 1 shot power - Reload energy - repeat.

AJ throw his combinations more in the 50-80% range.

They don't need to know what Joshua would be getting, but if that's so important, they didn't have to talk to DAZN. They could have responded to Hearns last offer with defined splits.

Well, at least AJ is capable of changing things up if the original game plan isn't working for him as was on display against Povetkin. Joshua also tends to attack with educated combinations as oppose to a Hail Mary punch with a follow up of wild swings, slaps with the inside of the fist and and punches to the back of the head.

The reason why Wilder has so many hand and arm injuries is because he punches so incorrectly. Wilder has looked good against stationary opponents, notably Stiverne in their first fight but, other than that I have been suitably unimpressed. Joshua on the other hand has beaten better opposition, more impressively.

It's such a ridiculous excuse. How much is AJ getting?

    More than you dumbass.
More because he's got 3 belts to your one plus the IBO if you want to count that.
More because he's the number one ranked guy everywhere by anyone who isn't on your payroll.
More because he risked more, sooner and fought better opposition to get to this point.
More because he's the bigger draw.
More because he's a commercial monster.
More because by unifiying these titles he's risking more and he's giving you the chance to become undisputed in one fight despite you making a career out of avoiding risk.
More because he has much better options than you for earning elsewhere and could afford to leave you earning a fraction of your fee for this for the rest of your career.

Don't like the offer? Then decline. Don't start bitching about the guy that's done MORE, achieved MORE, and brings MORE to the table getting MORE for it. That's just the way it is. Dumbass.

An order from WBC to fight him or los his lone belt might do it. Wilder is just good enough to avoid losing to non top 15-40 types and older men. That's it.

Wilder is certainly not a boxer. Joshua has become one, albeit one who relies on his size and power a la Wlad and Lennox.

Joshua improves every fight. You can see him implementing new skills or showing more facets to his game. I wasn't a huge fan to begin with but he's slowly won me over with his dedication to the craft side of things when he could have so easily got by on raw physicality (for a while at least).

Wilder? Um, yeah. Nothing to see here folks...

I've given up on the AJ Wilder showdown , it's never going to happen . You think Finkel is gonna lose again to AJ ? What little Finkel has in the HW he is keeping he found that out with Wlad . The team is not losing anymore .
