Still wondering why its taken Crawford so long to fulfill his mandatory obligations. The fight has never even been on the table for Crawford.
Ortiz has been calling him out since 2021, Ortiz is a fighter that other than Spence is looked at a real challenge, and that's the only reason I can see as to why this fight hasn't happened yet. Tbh it might be one of those fights that never take place.
Yea, that was never going to happen unless the WBO went ahead with the mandatory and Ortiz took it. It´s a clash of promoters and networks. And at this point, I don´t blame Ortiz for going another route because he could end up spending years chasing after Crawford or that mandatory spot.
Can’t we all just agree that neither Crawford or Spence deserve any attention or accolades from us fans now? They have held up a division that for the last 20+ years has been the best in Boxing full of HOF fighters. These two were supposedly the torch bearers, they haven’t done the sport justice and in the process have done themselves a massive disservice. They are both a55holes. Haymon, PBC and everyone involved are bad for boxing
No excuse. He needs to fight one of top 4 guys in 2023 Keep the same energy with other top guys at that weight.
He does not want to fight Spence because he realises he would lose. Simple as that. He is not overrated but he knows his limitations. Sugar Ray Leonard would have fought Spence but Bud won’t.
Ceawford is comfortable being in this position. He got money, some accomplishments and an undefeated record. He doesnt want to challenge himself further so how good he is remains a mystery.
To even suggest Crawford is a top p4p fighter is an insult to the sport. He has the worst defenses of any fighter I have seen in decades. When will he step up.
Yea but in that situation it only happened because of Canelo, GGG was being a diva just like Crawford Canelo just said f it let’s fight
