Hopefully Hearn puts you (an American nose picker) in the ring with him, I'd enjoy that...in fact I'd pay for that

Probably about on par with Quigg's recent run of opposition. Some guy lifted off the street sounds about right.

I agree his opposition hasn't been great but I'm guessing we are in agreement that he doesn't hold a real world title? So why would we be expecting him to be fighting world title worthy challengers?

because hearn has been running his mouth about how he can get him martinez, lsc and frampton and has delivered nothing so its a huge let down that we will now see him fight an unranked nobody

he isnt a real world champion but he keeps going on about how he is

Sometimes it just doesn't happen, if he doesnt fight one of those 3 or rigondeaux within the next year then il be disappointed. Sometimes the fights you wanna see can't happen straight away, we've had to put up with people avoiding golovkin (not saying quite is being avoided btw) and seeing him face crap opposition but now we've got a good fight with geale. Il be annoyed if it continues along this route but I'm sure wel see him against someone worthwhile soon, if not then il be with you.

    What?

    You've lost me there mate.

As one of the highest ranked in the division I want to see him challenge himself against other top fighters in the division is all. His paper title has **** all to do with it.

People give Kell stick for his run of opponents, yet he has no title. No difference here.

There's a difference between not fighting the absolute best and fighting people ranked outside the top 50 in the world.

true but by eddie not putting his hands in his pockets and getting martinez quigg could be in a very bad position come october

rigo will be wba and wbo and ring champion and quigg wont want to go near him

lsc will be wbc champion and will have little interest in fighting in england ,so hearn will either have to shell out a pay a fortune for him or else quigg will have to go to america ,either way he would more than likely get a pasting

and frampton will be the ibf champion and with his new title will be able to sell 20000-30000 tickets up to four times a year, he wont need quigg.
Eddie was talking about the fight being in manchester, why in gods name would it be in manchester, quigg cant sell a quarter of the tickets frampton can move in belfast. im sure frampton wont care about his paper title either, this was supposed to be quiggs money fight but they will bring little to negotiations and wont get anywhere near the money that martinez got

Was just saying that obviously his world title isn't a real one, but yeah you're right he is highly ranked and shouldn't keep that ranking if he continues to fight the same level of opposition.

Hopefully this next fight will be the last one before an actual decent match up :good

I disagree with both you and Ryan slightly....Eddie will go old school and bring over a Mexican..not a roadsweeper though as they will want to much money so he'll keep it fair trade and go for a coffee picker

I wonder if we can trick fast Eddie into thinking that Rigo is a fair trade worker still collecting sugar Cain in Cuba?

hey there not going to touch a mexican too much of a risk, they might ask ali raymi to step up a few wait classes and fight for peanuts though
