Do you not want him to be honest?

If anyone has a right to hate Broner, it's Roy. Broner demolished one of Roy's own fighters(a fighter he promote(s/d)), who happens to be white, and was very highly rated at the time.

And in spite of the whole world seeing Perez being woefully outgunned, Roy was highly complimentary of Perez.

foreman likes any guy that has knockout power. an was biased to a point of it being laughable. Like in the late rounds of trinidad-hopkins still talking about how hopkins needs to be careful because trinidad could end it at anytime with a one punch ko

HBO had to hire someone to balance out Merchatn's blatant hate. Who wants to be known as the racist station?

Another thing to consider is that a lot of fighters today try to emulate Roy. Thats just a fact and one of the reasons the other commentators draw comparisons to him. RJJ was the man that created his certain style of boxing, much like Pep or Ali revolutionized their own styles that newer generations borrowed from. Almost every other young fighter ive worked with have said their favorite fighter is Roy Jones Jr. and they want to do this or that "like Jones did"

di nt read past this. RJJ always favors the Klitschkos over whoever they fight. he also overrates some of thier skills when he talks about them in h2h ATG fantasy matchups.:good

Ive never seen him pick a black fighter or favor that fighter over a k2. Dont even think he picked Lewis over Vitali.:think

Yea I guess that's what it was. I admit I was kinda mad about Maidana losing. I guess I did go overboard saying he licks their asses though. Sorry RJJ fans!

On a side note, I wasn't trolling with this thread but I think I see why people do it. It was kinda funny seeing people get so pissed off. Calm down.

I don't think Roy Jones is biased at all. Compared to Steward he's a civil rights activist (oh wait). Roy cares only about merit and insight into the sport from what I've seen.

The most biased one is Max Kellerman, who absolutely LOVES black dudes, and always sounds like he's rooting for them!

Sometimes, like with Broner last night, he sounds like he wants to fellate them.

He's rather biased against good white boxers and even lies to discredit them, although he rarely bashes a mediocre white boxer who is just there to be opponents and make the black men he loves look good.

Examples of Max Kellerman lies to discredit the white fighters he doesn't like:

During the Calzaghe-Hopkins fight, Max said "Joe Calzaghe was knocked down by Chris Eubank in the first round of their fight" Actually, Joe knocked Eubank down.

Max said "Berto defeated Urango by a wider margin on the scorecards than Ricky Hatton did" after the Berto-Urango fight. Check what the scorecards really were.

"Rahman is taking this fight on THREE weeks notice" during the Rahman-Klitschko HBO telecast. Old news articles can verify it was SIX weeks notice - Rahman agreed to the fight on Oct 30th and fought Wlad on Dec 13.

Max: "Andrade knocked Bute out TWICE in their first fight"

And Kellerman ridicules and discredits the best white boxers: "Calzaghe is doing more poorly against Jones than a shot Trinidad" and immediately after the Hatton KO of Castillo "Hatton just KOed a shot Castillo".
