What fight is in the most demand by real boxing fans today?

Not really. It was a quick demolition. I had no problem with it. Personally I would rather see a fight last just abit longer but hey thats just me

 

Margarito will do everything he can to avoid Williams...I feel Williams has sensed this and is moving on. I doubt we will ever see Margo-Williams2. I also doubt we will ever see Margo-Santos3

Much more satisfying seeing the big brother go after the giant than seeing the little brother with a scared and confused look every time Valuev twitches - I still think Wlad wins, but Vitaly would do the job with far more style I think.

Gives Hopkins a chance to become 3-weight champ and let's us see him in the ring with a classical master technician. Pavlik was a classical fighter, but not at master level (not saying he is not a great fighter, but he has other assets too). Hopkins could easily tame Pavlik, can he carry that style even against the more extreme of classical styles?

Calzaghe has never met a real LHW! This would give Joe the chance to meet a real HW and a fast southpaw like himself - something we definitely need to see him tackle if he wants full credit.

These would be good fights. Hatton is not what he once seemed, but he should still be able to be Pac some rsistance.

 

Dawson is not really a true LHW Joeaverage...its been stated by his camp in the past 168 would be no problem

 

No, we'll still see Margarito Williams II. Even if Margarito eventually had to leave Arum to do it. I know you guys like to think it's Margarito who doesn't want the fight (despite obviously beint Arum), but he's fought anyone and everyone in the division who'd fight him. Why you think he'd be afraid now is pretty much an uneducated guess or wishful thinking. And who the **** cares about Margarito Santos 3? :huh

 

I'm not sure what fight you were watching Lance but Williams utterly ****ing schooled Margo the first time around. He did a little in the later rounds but not much. Margo feels he is the best in the division right now and doesnt NEED to avenge his loss to Williams, therefore he won't. Thinking this fight happens is merely wishful thinking on your part. Margarito-Santos3 would be a good fight(if they somehow could keep their heads from coming together) I would hope Margo would want that fight...If he had half the balls Cotto does they wouldve fought by now

 

Utterly schooled is a huge exaggeration. Please don't fall into that bull**** as so many others do here just to make a point.

It's as much wishful thinking for you to hope Margarito Williams II it doesn't happen.

What makes you think Margarito Santos 3 would be good? I saw both fights. Aside from some moments, they weren't good. And BOTH stopped on accidental headbutts...and you want a third? :huh

It's pretty obvious many of you hold this REMATCH clause onto Margarito more so then you do anyone. And unfairly, since he's the only WW who's fighting the top guys. Margarito fought Williams, Clottey, Cintron x2, Cotto, and is looking to fight Mosley and have a rematch w/ Cotto...and he's **** on becuase he won't fight Williams. Williams has a record of 2-1 vs. top 10 WW's. Williams has a win over Margarito, but he's barely done anything at all. Beating kolle was pointless, but it kept him busy. Fighting Phillips is a step up, but he's almost 40 himself.

The WBO belt kept Margarito out of certain fights, and yet he kept beating OTHER top Ww's. If Williams is having that problem, he should ditch it. Hell, when he faces Phillips, neither of his last two opponents would have neither been ranked or even WW's.

And I like Williams. He's pretty bad ass. But he's needs to cut that "I'll fight anyone from 147 to 168" **** and work on establishing himself at one class right now. Because otherwise, no one will be obligated to fight him.

 

I'm a huge Margarito fan, and I don't care about a third fight. One, Santos is in a different division, JrMW. Two, their first fights weren't that great. Bad style matchup. Three, seems most who want Margarito to avenge every loss aren't really his fans. I think that is pretty obvious.
