What Fight Was Ali’s Peak

To be fair let's do one for Big George, Ray Leonard, and the Golden Boy.

 

I'm rewatching the fight while on the treadmill. It'S amazing how many punches Ellis blocked with his face.

 

I really rate that performance, but let's not get carried away here.

 

Leonard is Hearns 1, but DLH is trickier. I think WW was his natural weight once he hit maturity, but he doesn't really have standout performances there, does he? Maybe the Tito fight was him at his best. I think he comfortably won that one, but maybe he should have showed a bit more.

 

Any sports fandom does that. Go check out a basketball forum; same **** goes on with Jordan.

It's to be expected. And nothing wrong with it. Ali was that damn good. So was Jordan.

100% agree! The Ali that fought Zora Folley in 1967 was IMHO the most magnificent fighting specimen ever seen in the history of the sport.
