What fight were people watching? Parker wasn't even close to winning.

Parker didn't win more than 3 rounds, fought very negative and seemed content to just go the distance. Did nothing but backpedal and flick out an ineffective jab that hit air all night. Took no risks, even in the championship rounds when he was clearly way down on the cards and needed a KO he did nothing. Stunk the joint out. Joshua won on the jab alone, and landed the more meaningful power punches.

Joshua wasn't exactly impressive himself, can't remember him throwing a single feint, his attacks became predictable and Parker read him well but he didn't capitalise, just did a good job of staying out of harms way. Still, Joshua did enough to clearly win the majority of rounds, it's hard to look good against someone fighting so negatively.

The hate for Joshua seems to have caused some kind of mass delusion. Parkers fans and countrymen have been very honest about his performance, haven't see one of them claiming he won, but the AJ haters have lost their minds completely. Take the AJ hate goggles off and rewatch the fight, some of those cards would make Adelaide Byrd blush. Calling this fight a robbery or even close to one is absolutely laughable.

I only gave 4 rounds and it was pushing it. I watched it 3 times and AJ dominated the fight.

I had it 9-3 and am not inclined to score fights in someone's favor when he fights off the back *and* shorts all of his offense. Parker looked like a cruiserweight coming up to HW for the first time.

Joshua did not impress, either, but if you have realistic expectations for him — i.e., he's a very good and sometimes very fun fighter, but never an ATG — then he was fine. I mostly blame Parker for stinking out the joint.

That’s why I asked Kiwi for his score as he’s reliable and he had wide for Joshua.
Quite what CST80 was watching I’ve no idea.

Yeah, I don't get it at all. This fight wasn't the least bit close or controversial. At most, Parker won 4 rounds, and frankly you could easily whittle this down to the 2 some of the judges gave. This fight was as one-sided as they come.

I think there are people who just don't like Joshua, and this influences their scoring. They want him to lose so badly, they think they are seeing it when it's not there.

There was loads of close boring rounds. If it had been in New Zealand, Parker would have probably got the decision.

Funny that the New Zealand judge gave the widest score...

Pardon me, Adelaide, did you stand up and boo the New Zealand and Samoan national anthems as well?

I favored AJ 5-4-3 — five rounds for Joshua, four for the ref and three for Parker. Could easily have been a draw between AJ and the ref.

Parker couldn't do much as at least as I expected, he did show he can go 12 withJoshua which really isn't easy to do and you'll l see that as his career moves on. Like I said its one thing to go 12 with AJ its another trying to win rounds on him , which is boxing!

I think Parker will benefit much more from this fight than Joshua, who let's be honest didn't actually step on the gas pedal like he could have.

A lot of interesting fights for Parker its really hard to say if I put him over Ortiz now? I' ll have to watch this fight a few more times. I'm going to post the actual score later.. Yea that's right the REAL score. Lol

True but, Joshua turned into Klitschweather towards the end with all the holding and laying all over Parker.
