I didn't understand why so many people were giving the early rounds to Parker, I cant remember him landing a punch of any note until later on were he had some sporadic success going to Joshua's body (shut down by the ref).

 

AJ is now a unified champion. Of course he’s going to fight differently and not just go in there and be a rocket sockem robot. Although the fight was trash and the ref was horrendous, Parker was the one not fighting to “shock the world”. It was quite pathetic. I get tired of seeing people blame one guy for a garbage fight.

If you’re over here talking about how one guy is not a god, fight like it. Parker didn’t make it a war like he said he was and he took no risk at all.

 

Never really score it when im watching it live but go with a rough idea and by the end i know who i think should be winning. I felt the judges were harsh to Parker in those scores but Joshua rightfully won.

Watched it again this afternoon and i gave Parker 3 rounds he was in the fight all night but he was losing the rounds. 9-3 seems too wide from how the fight felt at the time but judging round at a time that is what i got.

 

What is your problem with that quote? You think Joshua's boxing is creative?

What do you consider creative?
He boxes beautifully. Constantly changing his guard, probing with the jab, feinting. Joshua is constantly working. Meanwhile Parker is flashing his own jab, which Joshua can see coming from a mile away, because Parker isn't setting it up properly.

How was I schooled? Robotic fighters don't go 12 rounds without getting touched like Joshua just did , and Parker launched plenty of attacks which were all evaded with nimble footwork.
Robotic fighters can't adapt and overcome adversity like Joshua did against Wlad. The robot is stiff , upright and programmed to do the same thing over and over. A robot is unable to throw short chopping hooks to body and head on the inside.

Well it was the NZ judge who gave the 119-109 for Joshua, and it the same judges 8th time judging a Parker contest.
