I think he was a very heavy favorite, unless my brain is dying on me. Barrera was moving up in weight, and had recently lost to Morales and had a close call with Valbuena. According to Wikipedia (I know, not the most reliable source), Hamed was an 8-1 favorite coming in.

Jones dominating toney was a shocker at the time but b.hop dominating one of my idol Tito trinidad was more shocking to me.

WOW...I do not remember that. Damn, Then this should be the #1 fight on the List...because Hamed got Absolutely DESTROYED. And if I remember correctly...Hamed looked Just awful, wild, no control...Hell I don't even him landed any clean shots.

But what I do remember is the Longest Ring Entrance in the History of the sport!!! I think they was a Delay in the Fight because of that BULL****!!!!

Yeah, I completely agree about Hop/Tito...That Shocked the Hell out of me. And that was the fight that showed me that Tito had NO BUSINESS fighting above 147lbs...Maybe he could have stuck around at 154lbs....But should have NEVER....NEVER been fighting at MIDDLEWEIGHT!!!!
