He said he would fight Canelo if he wins his Trout fight, also said he would fight Trout as well.

As for Sergio, he is a 160 fighter calling out WW, he should be ashamed of himself.

It's a combination of his inactivity and the fact he holds a belt at a weight above the weight he is rated at. You find someone else that fits that criteria then you've got an answer to your question. Personally I don't think he's ducking anyone anymore than most other boxers who are frequently accused of ducking. That word is thrown around far too often.

Isnt the fact that he won a belt ABOVE his own a GOOD thing???

That shows how good he is.

Hes not a LMW yet he beat the No.1 ranked guy there.

But yeah "ducking" is thrown around way too often.

The guys has half a dozen HOF fighters on his resume and I dont know how many world titlists.

When was the last time he fought someone from outside the top 10 of their division??

In fact, pretty much everyone hes fought has been a top 5 fighter in their division.

Take Guererro, hes probably No.5 ranked WW out there, yet a lot of people are giving him grief for the fight.

    Top 5 welters.
    1.Floyd
    2.JMM(Has an easy win)
    3.Bradley(TR fighter)
4.Pacquiao(we all know the deal there)
    5. Guererro(Floyds fighting him now)

Cotto was No.1 ranked LMW at the time.

Ortiz was No.3 ranked WW at the time

Mosely was No.1 ranked WW at the time.

Marquez was No.2 p4p after Floyd absense, No.1 lightweight.

    Hatton was No.1 at LWW.

    etc etc etc etc

The guy fights good fighters, yet he gets labelled a ducker.

the duck label for floyd started way before being asked to go up and take a 50-50 fight.

Forget the Sergio fight he fights at 160 that's Sergio's fault for not fighting at 154 and trying to get 1st there, but the Alvarez/Trout winner makes perfect sense, Floyd is leagues above everyone at 147 wins there don't do **** for him, why go up to fight 154 to fight Cotto but not go up there to fight the best fight available? I'm a Floyd fan but I want to see him fight the best, I believe he beats Trout and Canelo but it will be a hard fight compared to 147, the fact Floyd isn't saying anything about the winner shows he isn't confident

He only has to defend against Trout, that is his mandatory so what are you crying about, Trout is fighting Canelo.

Yep. There's not much there I disagree with. People forget, and this probably goes for most accusations of ducking, that often the reason for a fight not happening is the politics of the promoters. That said, one fight a year isn't really enough. It's not enough to justify an accusation of being a ducker but it just means that fewer challenges can be taken up. But even then, very few people have a resume that comes close to Mayweather's.

Well this is true, Floyd should fight Canelo Trout winner or vacate 154 belt, and dominate 147.
