If he can read Cat And The Hat without messing up he'll have my respect.

In fact I'll double his dose and let him lay on his sofa while being IV 1,500ml reading it.

This makes sense ( in a Floyd Sr.esque way). If you follow what I'm saying?

Why are people who hate him always posting about him coming back?

Duh! C'mon Larry, to see him get beat. Just like RJJ and BHop and Vitali and Lennox, etc. That's the way it's always been for people on top.

Everybody is going to start indiscriminately naming middleweight champions here, but I would honestly give him more credit for beating a Thurman, Crawford, Bradley, Postol, Brook or Lara - or even a Garcia or Vargas - than a Saunders or Canelo II.

Ggg. Even if they were from the same division that fight would of been a classic. Great, slick defensive counterpuncher vs intelligent pressure fighter that can also counterpunch. Boxing at the highest level. Mayweather-Golovkin is the best fight to make by far. And still not too late. 50-50 fight. It might have a similar ending to Leonard-Hagler too.

Leonard was 5'10 and started his career at 140. To expect Floyd to move up to middle weight when he struggles to get up to 154 would be too much

Because the MWs have become the new one to neat him over the head with, despite nobody making such unrealistic demands of other fighters. If he went on and won a MW title, people would ask him to fight DeGale or Ward next - genuinely.

Frankly, I don't think there's much left for him. I think he should stay retired, much as I'd love to see him fight again. I just don't have a great deal of interest in the other fights.

It would be interesting to see the number of people who think Mayweather should fight GGG at 160 who also think GGG should have fought Ward at 168. I'd bet there's virtually no crossover.

Think this would be a good start. There were plenty of other great candidate for him to fight: Terence Crawford, Kell Brook, Keith Thurman and Timothy Bradley are the other obvious candidates.
