That's overall offensive ability? I think you severely underrate Duran in that case.

Granite chins that Roy Jones cracked:

    Virgil Hill?[/quote]

Definately a question mark on that one!
Cracked his rib, not his chin.

It's tough to defend yourself from "the Bearded Warrior" John Ruiz' hugging ability (power, handspeed, technique, timing, workrate, accuracy, have NOTHING on that), Golota is also an EXTREMELY dangerous offensive fighter-and so is Sam Peter, to a lesser extent. I always liked Terry Norris' offense, although he isn't quite the best, or as fearsome as those guys.:D

Why? It's possible to slug with him and win, outbox him, he doesn't have KO wins over granite chins, no single shot KO-power....one of the greatest ever, but why should he automatically be above Ike Williams and Julian Jackson(implied if you think he is "severely underated")?

Prime Roy Jones Jr. offensive arsenal is sick! combination of slickness, speed, combination, ko power and boom!

    Whitaker should also be mentioned

I just cant go past Ray Robinson...kind of an easy win too. At full throttle he was a monster.
    No 2 goes to Pryor
    3 Tyson

    Others in no order:
    Roy Jones
    Tszyu
    Calzaghe
    Judah
    Leonard
    Hearns
    Duran
    Dempsy
    Vic Darch

People can give their fave fighters here, or ones they like and see fit, but i really believe that they are gunna simply wind up honourable mentions, as this one belongs to Robinson. I cant really be bothered goin into detail, i have done before, and will if i must. But please everyone, just ACCEPT this one! Kidding there, but serious.

What does how many granite chins a fighter has cracked have to do with his offensive abilties? It show's that you can punch hard and make contact. For one thing I am not disputing Moore as a pick.

Also blatently I do not have the knowledge of you on fighters and have not seen as many fights however, picking guy's who have been stopped 9 times in what ever fashion as having "granite" chins seems a bit off, no? Charles also was down plenty of times.

Do you think that moore has better speed than Jones, better acuraccy, better punch variety, better angles, better offensive footwork (always was in position to throw a punch)?

Roy had physical attributes that other great fighters just did not.

It is not who knocked out the most people, this thread, it is about who has the best offensive abilities. Is it not?
