Let's face it as of right now Manny is the fighter of the year even though it was fake in October it's real now.

These are the list of fighters I think my have a chance based on their good performances earlier this year.

Sergio Martinez, Juan Marquez, Andre Ward, and Khan. All these guys would have to dominate, but I want you to answer how bad would they have to beat their opponent to Match Pac's 2010 campaign?

    Martinez and Pascal

If both lose Ring and the BWAA will likely give it to Pac again this year.

Next year, he'll steal it from Pac.
    He's the future.

La Maravilla. I think Williams should be on the list too. Beating Martinez is no easy feat.

all those guys can dominate their fight and not win it except Sergio. if Sergio KO's Paul then that win with the Pavlik win is better than Clottey and Margarito

Sergio is the only choice. If he does not beat P-Will emphatically and it's another very close decision, I see them giving it to Pac. One can argue that he's won all 24 rounds of his two bouts this year.

As of right this instant, it is without a doubt Fernando Montiel.

If Sergio can defeat Williams, it would obviously be him.

And if Pascal defeats Hopkins and Sergio does not defeat Williams, it'd be between Pascal and Montiel.

If Wladimir defeats Chisora in December, I'd liken him as the next option.

Mayweather, the #2 P4P, according to The Ring, dominating the #3 P4P would make him my next choice. Hasn't been since Dempsey-era a fighter took FOTY with one win, but this year is quite weak.

Let's get real, Joshua Clottey win is on the level of, at the very best, Wladimir's win over Eddie Chambers. And Wladimir's win over Samuel Peter is of higher relevance than... unranked and nowhere close to being ranked Antonio Margarito. I'm stunned people'd feel Pacquiao even has a remote chance, let alone being considered one of the favorites.
