    Has to be pacquiao.

People who barely follow boxing know who he is.

Tyson easily. Not the response you wanted and how you wanted the topic to go right Darryl?

Anyway, now? The ones with more promotion and superfights, aka Floyd, Pac, etc...

Response Darryl wanted, "Pac, the filipiones", OR "Cotto, the puerto ricans".

It WAS Tyson, now it's Pacquiao. But that's how it goes with exciting fighters, people want to see them fight, even if they don't follow the sport closely.

Pac in US all over every Ring cover the big star now.

Klitschkos are huge in Europe where boxing is still a huge sport maybe the second larges t or largest in Germany. Any street bum there recognizes them in Europe where they are big celebs America dont give a **** about boxing especially HWTS and non Americans
Just look how much more effort and theatrics and presentation goes on in German cards they take pride in boxing

It actually all depends on what region you're in. I don't think there is anyone boxing today who EVERYONE knows, regardless of if they have seen him fight or not. For instance, you'd be hard pressed to find anyone born before the mid nineties or so who have no idea who Mike Tyson or Muhammad Ali is.

So, like I said, it all depends on the region. If you are somewhere with a huge Puerto Rican population, you'll find that someone like Cotto has the most casual fans. In Ohio, maybe Pavilk has the most casual fans. In Michigan, it's probably PBF. In the UK, Calzaghe, of course, and in Germany, Klitschko.

It's a hard question to give a definitive answer to - for me, anyway. In all actuality, the answer to your question may be "none of the above". It's hard to zero in on any one guy in any sport. You can say something like, "which SPORT has the most casual fans" - which would probably be football, for instance - but when you're trying to single out a single individual, the lines become very blurred.

I should add - if you're asking who has the most casual fans strictly in boxing circles, then, as of right now, I'd have to go with Pacquiao. Maybe. Narrowing it down even that much is tough.

Pac, but Klitschkos have huge number of casual fans in Europe, thus huge crowds.
