    61,000 fans at ringside is really fantastic.

    However, Julio Ceasar Chavez drew 130,000 fans in a bullring when he fought Greg Haugen.

    Current Boxer: Mayweather, Mayweather has been on a ton of shows for a reason. Pacquiao is number two, but his concert was canceled because nobody bought tickets so there.

    Past Boxer: Oscar De La Hoya and Mike Tyson.

    Nobody bought tickets because they were afraid the sheer angelic beauty from his voice would overwhelm them and life would only be a downhill disappointment from then on. Given a fear like that, you can't blame them or Manny for the ticket sales.

    Obviously the Euros haven't logged on yet. Klitschko has by far the most - all of them in central and eastern Europe of course. When was the last time someone filled a stadium with 61000 fans for a heavyweight fight? There were only 41.000 for Pac-Clottey and most of them din't give a s***.

    you guys are missing the point i own alil pub and most arent boxing fans like myself its mayweather no dobt as far as active fighter wrestlemania dancing with the stars c'mon man there was more buzz about the floy mosley fight when they signed than there was about the pac clottey a week b4 who owns 24/7 look at the sales of may and marquez boxing people know marquez but nobody on the streets has a clue hate him or love him everybody knows who he is remember the question it wasnt who u like more

    Calzaghe the most popular fighter in the UK to casual fans? NO

    Ricky Hatton, hands down, in the UK at least.

    Globally i'd of had to of said Tyson or Pac.

    I would go with pac
    he has that high output type style that casual fans like plus he is one of the first world famous philipino boxers so a lot of folks with roots on that side of the world will watch him that dont watch a lot of boxing
