and 130 is near to marquez' prime weight of 126. if a bloated marquez who was unprepared when he moved-up to WW can't be stopped by a floyd who deliberately missed the weight, floyd can't stop this version of marquez either. besides, marquez is more pass his prime than floyd when they fought.

how come someone like gregorio vargas and carlos rios did not get stopped by floyd and someone as great and as resilient as jmm would get stopped at the weight? *****s and their fantasy wins.

Mayweather at 130. Would have a great chance. I think itd be a great action fight with Marquez winning some rounds but Floyd pouring it on in the championship rounds and the ref or corner stopping the fight.

Any of the ATG's at 135-140. Juan Diaz hurt him. Katsidis knocked him down. Arguello, Chavez, Pryor, DLH, Mosley all could wreck him.

At 147 any of the fab four end his career.

How come someone as old and shot as Mosely can't be stopped by Pac but someone as young and prime as Cotto can? :verysad Different fighters, different outcomes.

Stylistically Mayweather will always be a problem for Juan, he forced him to lead and out-counter punched him, 2lbs or 20lbs wouldn't have made a difference, it's just a horrendous style matchup for Juan and he loses 10 times out of 10. If you aren't aware of how the fight played out from a technical standpoint we should cease this discussion.

Mayweather's prime was a very different matter to Marquez prime. He wouldn't get steamrolled in the fight like the first fight with Pac, but Floyd would dominate him in similar fashion to their WW fight, though Marquez would be more competative he would still have immense trouble landing, Floyd would have more pop and power in his punches, it's not out of the question it could get called off by the ref at one point or another. It's by no means a certain thing though and I wouldn't put money on it.

Pacquiao knocked Marquez down 4 times in 2 fights at 130. Couldnt hurt Marquez at 144.

I mean seriously how stupid are you? Floyd had a 70-80% ko rate at 130. He was more active, faster and fought more offensively.

Do you not see the difference?

Pacquiao went 12 with Oscar Larios how could he possibly stop Barrera.

    God youre dumb

the difference is we have seen the fight panned out at a higher weight with all the advantages to floyd. bigger, much fresher, faster and even cheated jmm off the scales. even at that situation, jmm was never close to getting stopped by floyd. a prime jmm would have done much better.

I don't see Floyd stopping him to be honest. It took him so long to land against Juuko and Carlos and he barely ended it.

Marquez lasts, but loses 9 rounds in the process. He fights well to survive, like the Norwood fight.

Yeah man it's very very possible it goes all 12, but due to Floyds dominance of him at a higher weight it's POSSIBLE he could have stopped him at 130.

But like I said I'd never ever put money on it, Juan is a great, durable fighter with shitloads of heart, I was just surprised nobody has suggested it, because nobody has done to Juan what Floyd did

Those two cocksuckers see even a mention of Floyds name and pull swords out of their vaginas :verysad

    :rofl :rofl good

Juan is super durable. I would bet on a stoppage for early Oscar, Mosley (135) and Ike Williams.

Chavez....maybe. Not Floyd. I don't trust his hands at the weight.
