By this i mean an acknowledged top class boxer who has never impressed you.Mine is Vasyl Lomachenko,i know he is revered by a lot of people on here but i can honestly say he has never dazzled me at all.In saying that i have only really seen his last 6 fights
Lomachenko looked much better against men his own size, than he does against bigger men at lightweight. He was dazzling at featherweight. The fighter that I didn't see much talent in was Andre Ward. He used a lot of illegal tactics to make up for his lack of boxing ability.
GG, never saw what all the hype was about... TC, doesn't make enough big fights, has a diva persona. Caleb Plant, despite a beautiful KO in last fight I've never found him all that intriguing to watch and he appears to get a lot of unworthy praisee. Filip Hergovic, only ever heard of him because of this forum and he was propped up as some Terminator like killer. After seeing a couple of his fights I have no idea what the hype is all about and I question the intelligence of the many on this forum who had propped him up so aggressively Andy Ruiz, sets a bad example for the kids that being a fat slob is OK, also runs around telling everyone he is Mexican when he is really from California. I go to Mexico all the time, trust me no Mexicans claim Andy Ruiz or even give a crap when he fights.
Joyce at HW, still very slow and hittable, the chin will crack soon or gets schooled. Fury and Uysk would beat him, and wilder and Joshua could crack his chin. Mikey Garcia now retired I guess, never saw him as a great fighter, did the Broner route, the light weight division would be too hot for him now, weight class jumping to pick and choose the fights and picking up L's, Spence treated him like a child and now he's heads gone (I rate Spence) but Garcia was meant to put up some sort of fight, he wasn't daring to be great, he did absolutely nothing. Taylor would have bashed him up. Haha he could be still at fighting the new kids on the block, but he's been exposed as an overated fighter.
He is probably the most dazzling fighter of them all. Take into account he is fighting two weight classes above where he belongs. And he still wins pretty easily. Watch his fights in the lower weights, if that doesn’t impress you then nothing will.
Joyce is definitely on the list, nothing skill related about continuously getting punched in the face and then everyone saying wow what a chin. Crawford lost me when he went tooth and nail with a dwarf in Gamboa
I overated Hrgovic big time, I thought he the goods and the next heir, but he isn't done yet, he's still there to compete and a good gut check against Zhang.
