We are all talking about manny and hatton, but what about the smaller names in boxing. Say you make a 100,000 a fight after the manager, promoter, trainer, taxes and other expenses you will keep a little less than half of that. What people don't realize is 90 percent of boxers don't make much, only the hattons,mayweathers,delahoyas make all the money.
anyone who gets within title contention is making solid bank. Esp above lightweight. not anyone, but alot of them.
Compared to UFC fighters, boxers make really good money. Although I do agree that compared to the Oscars and Hattons most would be incredibly lucky breaking a mill on skill alone.
