I can see what your saying, but as naz grew older and more arrogant he became more and more frustrating. There is a lot of what ifs that come to mind when talking about him: what if: he stayed with the ingles he was more disciplined he fouhgt morales, jmm, tapia etc. and so on. all i say is that he was entertaining, made an estimated 70 mill by the time of retirement, headlined in the UK, New York and Vegas. and did beat all the belt holders one after the other. all i say is that
all time hatred goes to Ottke, joke to boxing imo. I really dislike Wladimir Klitschko and his fans, his style of boxing is terrible as is his lack of bottle. Overrated. i dislike VKs style aswel, but I dont hate him.
The only times Vitali annoyed me was the incident in the ring after the Lewis fight - acting like a complete **** protesting, having been red carded by the doctor. Note - you lost the fight, fair and square. Deal with it :deal The doctor did you a favour and saved your eyesight. The other occasion was the stupid statement claiming that he won on points, because he was ahead at the time of the stoppage. He fails to take into account that he ate some serious uppercuts and would have got knocked out pretty sharpish - after which he would have never been the same. Note - if this is true, did the following happen...... Frank Bruno W Lennox Lewis Frank Bruno W Bonecrusher Smith Zab Judah W Kostya Tszyu Herbie Hide W Vitali Klitschko and so on? I think not.
None of that addresses any of the four points I made though. I am well aware of everything in your final paragraph, hence the reason I don't hate or even dislike Naz as a fighter. But I do thoroughly dislike the myths his fans purport - the four points I made.
I don't hate fighters just there rabid fans with the exception of John Ruiz or any of the other masters of the jab and grab
I don't really hate any fighter and i don't think very highly of fans who do hate fighters for petty reasons, they generally aren't real fans. Unless a fighter behaved like scum outside of the ring, and genuinenly was just a **** person, i wouldn't really be able to "hate" them. It annoys me when fans behave like the fighter raped their mother and killed their father when they avoid a fighter or pull some money before legacy type stunt that is simply a frequent part of the sport. I think a lot of people confuse hate for a fighters fans with hate of the fighter himself.
Lots of people are up in arms about the Diaconu ducking crap. But really, if you are using the word hate as a result of something as petty as that, you are either not taking the meaning of the word seriously, or your just a narrowminded tool.
It was pretty obvious he saying it in a joking manner. All couples have their stupid qwerks, if you hate a person over that remark, your an absolute moron.
I never followed Hamed, but I loved to hear that he lost. Too bad he didn't do all the showy stuff before the fight.
I don't. When did I say I did? :huh I just despise him as a person and have no respect for the way he conducts himself professionally outside the ring. Humble?! :-( :-( He'a a prima donna, he's a liar, he's a hypocrite and he has no self-respect or dignity...:deal Why? http://www.eastsideboxing.com/news.php?p=17400&more=1 ...BUT...he's a good family man, you got to give him that. The reason I want him to lose is because I think it would be better for boxing medium/ long-term if he lost, because he could no longer pretend he is this perfect untouchable fighter who is too good to fight his mandatories and should be allowed to pick and choose his fights, given that he's already p4p No. 1...and he'd step in with some lesser known fighters who would have a higher chance of beating him than the type of fighters he's chasing - hence, he'd be involved in closer, more competitive fights = good for boxing.
I'm actually a Calzaghe fan, but I can't stand the people who talk about him as if he "held SMW in a stranglehold for 10 years". No he didn't - he was around for 10 years but avoided (or was avoided) by the best until the Lacy fight and never was considered "the man" at SMW except perhaps after the Mitchell fight.
