he may have been a 19 year old kid, but a lot of people consider that Tyson was in his prime from 19-21.

For me, RJJ looked pretty damn unbeatable in his heyday

No they don't, in fact he was 22 when he faced Spinks. He started getting to top level at the age of 20; at 19 he was still a work in progress.

Bowe was extended the distance against Tony Tubbs in a close fight and then 1 year later he beats Evander Holyfield. So incase you think a year doesn't make a difference I'm just preempting.

Jones looked unbeatable in the Pernell Whitaker or Floyd Mayweather Jr. kind of way; Fighters with an aggressive style tend to fit the bill of "unbeatable" alot better.

Defeating ( almost killing ) Frazier and Norton would make anyone look unstoppable.

    Foreman.

RJJ had power and went for the KO, with some KO's never seen in boxing. Whitaker and Mayweather is skilled but not exciting and with no power.

Tyson. Nobody had seen anything like that before, and also the division was well regarded as **** at the time so he did seem unbeatable. Foreman didn't nearly have the unstoppable aura that Tyson did, the majority of sports writers picked Ali to beat Foreman the night of the fight.

Keep in mind that the average age of posters here are about 25-26 years of age.

Most people who were around during the time of Foreman and also saw Tyson would pick Foreman.....most people who are only old enough to have seen Tyson are picking Iron Mike.

Jones. He was the complete package, the other two were not, although Tyson was a more complete fighter than Foreman IMO.

in their times it's gotta be forman. ali was considered unbeatable until he meet frazier and then forman made it look cruel on frazier. and the rumble in the jungle is still considered to be the biggest upset of all time. everyone said ali would be killed! and thats ali 'the greatest'.

  13. Foreman clearly

From a psychological sense it's tyson, he was like a monster cutting through the top heavyweights.

But foreman did the same to prime joe frazier. That's right, not berbick, but prime joe frazier.
