What fighter would you place on an old school lunch box?

Juat had an awesome thought; what if we had a picture of June Cleaver on the lunch box with a speech bubble above her head that read "eat your damn lunch."

Now I'm seeing ads for vintage metal lunchboxes in the advertisement at the top of the main page.



We used to get a new metal lunchbox every year. Each one always came with a thermos. And they would put the weirdest themes on them. Whatever popular show was on TV that fall had a lunchbox. Bands had a lunchbox. Many old cowboys had lunchboxes. The one I remember having the most was a Disney lunchbox where the lunchbox was shaped like a bus.

Those lunchboxes were great though. But dangerous. My brother split our cousin's head open with one. Hit her over the head with it. Kids were always swinging them at each other. Probably why they don't make them metal anymore. But hitting kids in the head and slamming them against walls is probably why so many of those old metal boxes have dents in them.

Surprisingly, not a lot of sports-themed metal lunchboxes. I did find a Muhammad Ali lunchbox. But the date advertised on the side of the box was the Liston rematch? Of all the fights, that's the date you put on a lunchbox? Like I said, weird.
