    ...Jumped on the Bandwagon!!!

For me it was Tito Trinidad.

I first saw him against Maurice Blocker. Blocker was a decent fighter out of DC Area who was in some good fights with Lloyd Honeyghan, Marlon Starling, Simon Brown, Luis Gabriel Garcia and Terry Norris.
And I was thinking when the fight started..."Man, Blocker is going to destroy this Skinny-ass dude". Tito Blew right through his ass. But I still wasn't ready to give him props because Blocker was pretty much gone by then. Tito was building wins...then I saw him against Oba Carr, I was like "WHOA"!!! But I still wasn't ready to give him props...NOT YET!!!

He still kept winning and building his record...Old ass Pendleton, Whitaker and Pineda. And when he got that gift decision vs. Oscar, I was still hatin' on Tito...But it was the David Reid and Fernando Vargas fights that made me say: "DAYUM....Tito is the real deal".

And on my short list of fighters...Tito is TOP TEN. But to this day, I am still trying to understand why he went above 147lbs. Tito was a Beast at Welter!

Carlos Quintana. I saw him fight at the mid level and I didn't think much of him to be honest. No more than an average talent I thought, but by the time he faced Joel Julio he had turned himself into a real world class slickster and I became a fan.

Tomasz Adamek...Certainly didnt think he was awful but caught a couple of highlights of him before Briggs and thought he wasnt much chop. Was pretty confident Briggsy could take him. Really I think a lot of people thought that, even the ones who had seen full fights of him..apart from the Poles of course.

He has really showed he class since.

    Monzon.

Though he was robotic, slow and feather fisted.

My opinion has changed so drastically since then on all accounts I feel ashamed to say I ever felt that way.

    Yeah most definitely.

He is an acquired taste...You will almost find no new fan who finds him great to watch or think he is all that good. But you will find just about every hardcore fan has almost the opposite opinion.

I was certainly in the same boat when I first saw him.

The Joppy fight was seriously shocking, I remember many picking against Trinidad then that display of power at the weight was just insane. He hurt Joppy real bad every time he hit him.

    Lennox Lewis.

My introduction to Lennox Lewis was watching him slow dance with Henry Akinwande.

Vitali Klitschko. I don't know if I'd say I jumped on any bandwagon but I regard him highly now and when I first saw him I was thinking "If this guy wasn't so big, he'd have nothing. He'll get schooled by the first durable elite fighter he goes in against." I didn't realize the levels his unusual style worked on or how much of a puzzle he could be or how tough and intelligent he was. He's got some obnoxious fans and some equally obnoxious detractors but damn tough tall order for anybody.

    Carl Froch.

I was like "wtf this guy is slow as hell, has no defense and talks like he is p4p"
Then he beat Pascal, Taylor and even Dirrell (which was a **** fight i think he barely won) and now im rooting for him to beat kessler
